Hotel in Downtown Boston

Room very small. Handy to Copley Plaza. Air vent blew directly on us. Very difficult to sleep with cold air bowing on you. Sound proofing is needed. The Vigo restaurant off the lobby is the best value in Boston.

Great hotel right in Boston

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Friendly, helpful staff and a lovely building. Seems to have been redecorated recently as well. The room was a good size for sleeping and washing in, you don't need it for much more (the bed was so comfy!). Very close to Copley Square, a lot of shopping areas, parks and is a 20 minute walk from the baseball. The tube/subway is very close - basically next door! Highly recommend this hotel and I would stay here again whenever I will come back to Boston. Thanks for an amazing stay! (Female, travelled alone. Stayed 1 week)

Ok hotel in great location

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: Update features to be more modern and up-to-date
Location: Flour cafe, Newbury Street, South End
You're really paying for the location of this hotel, which is perfectly located in the Back Bay/South End area of Boston. The actual hotel itself is ok, it gets the job done, but it is not fancy by any means.

Very small room.

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: The staff were very helpful when we arrived early and needed to store luggage and needed help with tours. Close to Amtrak and "hop on hop off" stop.
Cons: Price needs to be reduced to be commensurate with the size of the room.
Location: Close to Amtrak station and "hop on hop off" bus stop.
At the price we paid, we were disappointed to find just how small our room was. One side of the bed (barely a double) was hard against the side wall and there was very little space on the other side. There was a TV but there was not really room to sit and watch it. The toilets throughout the hotel were very noisy.

Great location, comfortable room, free wifi but bathroom shower room was clogged and there was no bath rug. Used towel for the floor... No tv channel program list was available in the room

Excellent location

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location. Very helpful and effective front desk staff. Clean and fresh.
Cons: Beds too lively. Rooms ineffectively arranged.
Location: Close to transport of all kinds. Near Newbury street
Very clean, good modernization. Small rooms, but we don't spend much time en suite, anyway. Very clean. But, our beds were "lively" (Either partner moves, it transmits movement to other. And, modern, clean and spartan decor coule easily be more effectively arranged in each of the two rooms (Stayed for 3 days, went elsewhere, came back for two more days.) to not only gain usable space, but be more visually appealing.

Great place to stay !

Very central, ideal location. We walked everywhere on foot. Boston common about 15 mins walk and Harbour about 20mins walk from Hotel. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops just round the corner! Lovely staff and check out viga in hotel for breakie.
