“Great service”

I travel for business a lot, and typically rate hotels by reliablility of internet access, check-in speed, location, etc. The Hotel Commonwealth easily meets all of those requirements, but with style. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay--the service was excellent, perfect location for business as well as after hours entertainment. The room was more than simply comfortable--lots of work space, good quality linens, quiet. And the Great Bay's food and service were also excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure travelers.

“Wonderful hotel”

The Hotel Commonwealth was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. I was very impressed. It was a little out of the way, but that's ok. I will be back.

“We had a great time”

My 15 year old son and I stayed here for 3 days to (primarily) go to Red Sox games. Our room looked out at Fenway which was special for us. We used the T and walked everywhere. The neighborhood is lovely and he especially enjoyed eating at the Trident book store which is just a few blocks away. The hotel could not be more convenient to Fenway and at the end of a long day sightseeing and a night game, it was wonderful to have that very short walk home. The room itself was lovely and spacious. We enjoyed every minute of our visit and I would absolutely stay at the Commonwealth on a return visit.

“What's not to love?”

Outstanding hotel. Fantastic location. Unbelievable restaurant. Delightful personel. Very clean, and wonderfully comfortable. We could never consider staying anywhere else when in Boston, now that we know about the Hotel Commonwealth.
