“Perfect Hotel for Red Sox Games”

Stayed at this hotel just recently for the red sox yankee series. Could not have asked for a better location. Fenway is out your back window so no parking problems. If you could open the windows in the rooms you would have been able to hear the roars from your room. In addition the hotel was very nice. Spacious rooms, upscale decor, frienldy service. Also a great restaurant attached-East Bay. Only drawback is the location other than the games. Kenmore square is not in the center of activities other than Boston University. However T Station is right out the door and Prudential Center is one stop away. Would definately stay there again.

My only complaint was the cost. However, we were in town at the same time as the Celtics were winning the championship so I think that would be an issue whereever we stayed. The location was great. The staff were excellent. The restaurant and room service did not offer much for vegetarians (I am not but my daugher is). I found it surprising that our taxi driver and tour bus driver did not recognize the name of the hotel. I would love to stay there again.

The architecture and decor of the building was superb. The room was plush and very comfortable. Location very close to Fenway Park.

Enjoyed the room and staff. Perfect location for business at Boston University. Just a little pricey for total package.

“Perfect place to stay in Boston”

my daughter is considering Boston University for college. we went there for a tour and stayed at the Hotel Commonwealth. The place is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, right next to the University. If she goes to college there, we will definitely be back!!

“Good Location For Baseball Fans”

We enjoyed the Commonwealth. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The Eastern Standard restaurant attached to the hotel was superb. For baseball fans it's the perfect hotel to stay at. Just 2 blocks from Fenway. I would recommend this hotel to others.

“impressive hotel”

Excellent location, near everything, perfect for tourists and all visitors. The overall furnishings and amenities are among the best I've seen. My only issue was that the staff was a hit & miss. Sometimes they are great and extremely helpful but at other times there will be folks who make it clear that they don't exactly enjoy their jobs or could care less about my needs as a paying customer. I'd stay there there again next time I visit Boston but I hope some of the staff figure out what good service is courtesy is really all about.

Everything was perfect, especially location. Cannot be overstated. Stay in the Fenway rooms for a great view of the park!
