“boston's best”

Best bet for boston visit , 5 min from downtown. Nearly half the cost of downtown hotels. Will certainly go back.

“Exceptionally nice hotel”

One of the most charming hotels and certainly a bargain. Not to be compared with the know-one-know-all chains. Location very convenient if you do not mind walking a few steps or taking cab/public transport.

“At Marlowe, Everyday is a Beautiful Day”

Hotel Review: Wonderful time...that does not even come close to the sum of the experience. The staff is very attentive, the property is beautiful as is the view. The food is spectacular and the ambviance is mouth watering!!! They provided kayaks and even brought them down to the Charles for us. They go above and beyond in every way. Evening turn down service was such a pleasant surprise as was the complimentary cake and wine sent by the concierge for my birthday. Truly an enticing experinence...can't wait to go back for more!!!

Absolutely wonderful service from check-in to check-out. Truly pet-friendly! Wonderful location attached to mall and next to wonderful park along the Charles. Will always choose this hotel when in Boston in the future!

“Trendy Hotel in Boston”

Was very impressed with the service and quality of Hotel Marlowe. They have free bikes, and kayaks you can borrow at the front desk, and the surrounding area is great for walking/running. I would definitely return...

“Loved staying at the Hotel Marlowe!”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cambridge. I was happy to be within walking distance of both the Cheesecake Factory and P.F. Chang's not to mention a beautiful three story mall. Would've like to take the river cruise along the Charles River but we did enjoy walking along the riverwalk. Very pretty area! Oh and close to the train too!

“Hotel Marlowe is a nice find.”

A nice find even though it's not readily advertised that the self-parking is $20.for 24 hours (and $30.per overnight if using valet). Hotel itself is really NOT overlooking the Charles River; more like overlooking the Royal Sonesta Hotel which is overlooking the river. These, however, are the only "negatives" in an otherwise great hotel. The staff were ALL nice and friendly, afternoon happy hour was cool even though lacking background music. Instead had to endure a bunch of chattering yuppies sipping wine. Rooms were fantastic- loved the iHomes for my iPod, mini bar was nicely stocked with decent assortment. Hotel is linked with Cambridgeside Galleria mall which was convenient to pick up items at pharmacy or whatever. Overall, a nice place I'd definitely recommend. Oh,yes, the free-to-wear leopard bath robes were a nice touch.

“Excellent hotel, helpful friendly staff.”

Stayed at the Marlowe Hotel over the Easter break. Weather absolutely freezing but a very warm welcome from the staff at the Marlowe. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel's decor was very opulent and rooms extremely comfortable. Beds and pillows also comfortable and cleanliness of hotel and rooms was faultless. Beds turned down & chocolate on pillow each evening, nice touch! Complimentary wine hour was very enjoyable and meeting other guests to share their day in & around Boston was a great experience. Also complimentary tea and coffee provided in the living room each morning was very welcomed before hitting the sights of Boston. Would certainly recommend the Marlowe hotel.

“Cambridge beats Boston”

There was so much to love about this hotel. Upon entering the room, I got a kick out of the jungle theme. The view was great and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a wireless connection and a well-stocked mini-bar. I enjoyed the wine hour and met some great folks from Britain there. What a unique idea to unite the hotel guests. One night I was in desperate need of a coffee at 2AM and room service brought it to me in a flash. Saved my life! One of my favorite things was the complimentary bicycles - biking around the city provided me with a fresh look at Boston. It actually looked pretty. I've never said that about Boston before! I'd love to come back to this hotel and try the kayaks some summer day. Thanks!
