Cambridge hotel near memorial drive

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Most comfortable bed around, got there late and left fairly early. Breakfast room was being renovated so breakfast was served in living area but it all worked. Near many other hotels by memorial drive so great access to nice walks on Charles and across the bridge from Boston.

Great hotel at a fair price.

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Maybe some more amenities like a pool, but not really needed.
Location: In very close proximity to just about everything and is easily accessible.
Beautiful hotel in a nice quiet location. Very close to everything. The staff was extremely friendly. Would highly recommend the hotel and will come back when in the area.

Thanks for sharing both the good and the not so good. The restaurant is undergoing a facelift right now, but I promise it will be worth it when it's done. We do have full service available in our courtyard as well as the living room. Thanks for sharing your experience. Joe Capalbo General Manager

Nice facility. Disorganized service.

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Comfortable, quiet room. Nicely designed.
Cons: Room service.
At midnight, I ordered room service for tomato soup and a fruit plate. They promised 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, I called to check. They were "backed up" but would deliver soon. I called several times and got more promises but no results. After an hour of waiting, I called to cancel as I needed to sleep. They offered to make it complimentary, but I didn't want free food from them. I wanted prompt service. They delivered cold soup and the fruit after 1am. To top it off, it looks like the food was tacked onto my bill even though it was "free."

Great hotel minutes from all Boston and Cambridge

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Bombara
Cons: Bathrooms were small with no room to store/hold anything
Enjoyed the hotel and area. Staff were courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean although view of the courtyard was not exciting.

There are much better hotels in Boston

Posted Jul 1, 2014
There is no River view ... SORRY the river is across a 6 Lane Highway behind multiple other high rising buildings. You may have a dog barking/whining all night long next to your room The hotel is on a 6 Lane Highway . NO window can be opened, there is a 6ft wide outdoors space for dining ... surrounded by cars, and at breakfast they ran out of croissants, never mind there were just about 30 guests at the buffet on Sunday morning. So, we will never go back there again because for the same price Boston offers much better class and true relaxation. This place is a dog kennel.

So sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us, your feedback is definitely appreciated. We rarely hear about issues with barking dogs, so thanks for pointing that out so we can better address it. And just to clarify, Land Boulevard is not a major highway, but like most of the roads in downtown areas has multiple lanes. Thanks again for your feedback. Joe Capalbo, General Manager
