Superb hotel.Posted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: I liked everything
Cons: the noise from the heating unit in my room could be improved. I could hear it in the middle of the night.
Location: Location is excellent. It is close to the to the Lechmere T station. 15 mins walk to the TD Garden for all your sports matches and concerts.
Everything about the Marlowe is first class. Location, staff, comfort, cleaniness, free coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning is great. The complimentary wine reception at 5pm is a superb idea. It is connected to the local Galleria so you dont even have to go out in the street to shop.

Nice hotel, access to mall, good restaurantPosted Mar 2, 2014
Cons: I never have an issue with pillows in a hotel - I'm just not that fussy! - but I slept without one both nights as they were HUGE and uncomfortable
The décor in the hotel is warm and welcoming, and the rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. The staff are attentive, and knowledgeable about what to do in the local area. The restaurant serves really nice food and it was just generally a pleasant place to stay - access to the mall directly from the hotel was good as well!

So sorry about the pillow! I personally removed it from the room and had a chat with it on how unacceptable that was. A good night's sleep is a bare minimum for us, so I am very sorry that happened! Thanks for the otherwise great comments! Joe Capalbo, General Manager

Excellent, as alwaysPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: The staff make this hotel one of the friendliest hotels i have ever stayed at.
Cons: The mattress could do with a turning as it rolled downhill a bit, but that's the only thing that could be improved on.
Location: It is attached by the underground parking lot to the mall, making it very convenient in snowy or wet days. The Science Museum is a 5 minute walk away.
Another excellent stay at Hotel Marlowe. The staff were so helpful and always had a smile. I love the quirky decor and of course, the underground access to the Galleria Mall, always appreciared on snowy days!

NYCPosted Feb 22, 2014
Cons: A bigger bathroom, maybe?
Location: Next to several subway stations, which basically can get you to most spots in NYC.
Location is the perk. Room is kind of small, not a deal-breaker tho.

four star servicePosted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff - great food in Bambara.
Cons: Warn people in advance of parking fees.
If you stay - dine in - and at the bar for truly memorable food and doting service. Also loved the leopard print bath robes, but coffee service could start a bit earlier than 6:30 for us early risers! The fitness center is very well equipped to work off those extra calories from the fine dining.

kimpton stay 2014Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: very nice and clean
Cons: I notice when checking in they didnt ask if this was my first stay at a kimpton,as wellas i was not told about the wine reception,or becoming a member
Location: If its your first time in boston the location is fine if you want easy access to shopping and restaraunts.
the hotel is easy accesible from the galleria mall. There was not a wait and front desk personel nice and quick cheaking me in. The room was very clean and spacious there was a closet with two robes and plenty of hangers,as well as a iron and board. The bathroom was nice but kinda small as you would need to close the door to get into the shower. There was a flat screen tv a sitting chair a desk and the honor bar which they provide a key to get into(for purchase). The bed i had was a king nice large headboard and nice linens for the bed,and there was a large sun like mirror on the wall and two nightstands which one had a ihome for ipods. There was two phones in the room and one in the bathroom.

Cambridge Valentine's weekendPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: The bed, the location, the restaurant.
Location: It's right across from the Royal Sonesta, next door to the massive Cambridgeside Galleria, and a ten minute walk to the Museum of Science.
First of all - the most comfortable bed I may have ever slept on, ever, in my entire life. Booking through Expedia was a wonderful experience, we had a stunning view of the city with all the amenities we needed. I wish parking wasn't so $$ (30/night) but that would be the only thing I'd change. I'll come back for sure.

Nice hotel, great staff, nice dinner.Posted Feb 3, 2014
The comforter was dirty, but we just pushed it off and didn't use it. Otherwise, everything was quite nice.
