Do not eat at the breakfast dining room. Bad continental breakfast. better order room service. Breakfast should close at Eleven.

Affordable luxury

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: The views of the Charles River and Boston skyline are lovely. Cool water flavored with lemon is kept in the lobby, a great refreshment on a hot day.
Cons: The restaurant is currently closed, though room service is available. Apparently breakfast on Sunday morning was as well, but that was not made clear.
Location: Directly across from the Museum of Science and waterfront parks. Duck Boat tours leave from the Museum. Close to Quincy Market, Boston Garden.
Overall, our experience was good. Reception was a little confused. I stood around for several minutes while hotel staff talked with each other before noticing me. Thereafter staff was helpful, however, assisting me in booking a Duck Boat Tour and printing out tickets. On Saturday evening there was a wine reception, which provided a nice start to our evening.

Great stay in a beautiful city. The staff was very helpful, the hotel was very clean. Only downside was the restaurant was closed for renovations - the limited menu available in the living room was limited. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the concept of borrowing the kayak - we did not have the time to do so - but would consider it on a future visit.

Cons: restaurant closed for remodeling- tell customers that before they book on-line
went to see a concert at TD Garden. Stayed for 1 night only.

Cambridge hotel near memorial drive

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Most comfortable bed around, got there late and left fairly early. Breakfast room was being renovated so breakfast was served in living area but it all worked. Near many other hotels by memorial drive so great access to nice walks on Charles and across the bridge from Boston.

Great hotel at a fair price.

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Maybe some more amenities like a pool, but not really needed.
Location: In very close proximity to just about everything and is easily accessible.
Beautiful hotel in a nice quiet location. Very close to everything. The staff was extremely friendly. Would highly recommend the hotel and will come back when in the area.

Thanks for sharing both the good and the not so good. The restaurant is undergoing a facelift right now, but I promise it will be worth it when it's done. We do have full service available in our courtyard as well as the living room. Thanks for sharing your experience. Joe Capalbo General Manager

Nice facility. Disorganized service.

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Comfortable, quiet room. Nicely designed.
Cons: Room service.
At midnight, I ordered room service for tomato soup and a fruit plate. They promised 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, I called to check. They were "backed up" but would deliver soon. I called several times and got more promises but no results. After an hour of waiting, I called to cancel as I needed to sleep. They offered to make it complimentary, but I didn't want free food from them. I wanted prompt service. They delivered cold soup and the fruit after 1am. To top it off, it looks like the food was tacked onto my bill even though it was "free."
