Close to Logan- good room for the price

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Location to airport. Price. Cleanliness. Updated.
We had to fly very early & decided to stay at Hyatt the night before since it was going to be snowing. Found the room to be a great price for a Boston hotel. Very clean, updated & staff very nice.

A lovely hotel at Logan Airport in Boston.

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: The spectacular view of Boston from our hotel window and the dining room.
Cons: The sound of the shower next door. Also, able to hear the next door guests when room service arrived. Neverhear a plane!
Location: I wanted a hotel at the airport.
In between snow storms we stayed overnight to ensure a timely arrival for an early morning flight to my nephew's wedding. I relaxed over a nice meal with a spectacular view of Boston. The hotel shuttle took us to the terminal early in the morning.

What a view!

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: View! Very nice workout room with good equipment. Appreciated airport shuttle.
Location: Dinner in north end; Italian at Limoncello or Bricco, can't beat it for authentic Italian.
We had planned a one night stay to enjoy dinner in the north end then catching an early flight, so this hotel fit the bill. Through no fault of the hotel, the water taxi wasn't running due to one of the many huge snow storms. So land taxi cost $25 each way - just know that. Can do Uber, but beware of surge pricing. Water taxi is $ 20 round trip. We also had to extend our stay another night due to cancelled flight. Staff very accomodating, very friendly and helpful. Food was very good, pricey, but expected as that is Boston. Wait staff very friendly. Absolutely fantastic view of city from our immaculate and recently updated room- this was great as we were stranded there due to weather. Great beds.

Great hotel near Logan Airport

Posted Feb 9, 2015
Cons: When I visited there was some renovation going on, but I expect this will be done soon.
The hotel is near Logan Airport right next to the car rental return. As long as you have EZ Pass on your car, getting from Logan to Boston is easy. The view of the city is beautiful, especially at night. The restaurant is first rate. There is a well equipped fitness facility. But the hotel is isolated in a section of the airport zone. Don't go if you expect to take walks.

Newly renovated room with a great view!

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: The staff is very nice, the restaurant is in an attractive space, and the rooms have a good view whether you are on the airport or the Boston side.
Cons: See above, basic problems with design in a newly redone room.
Location: The hotel is right beside Logan airport, but is takes a long time (nearly 1/2 hour in our case) to be picked up by the hotel shuttle. Too long!
The room was newly redone, fresh and clean. It had a wonderful view of Boston, unbeatable. We had a very nice, newly redone room, but there were still some kinks to be worked out on room design. For example, the coffee maker was stuffed into a cubbyhole where it was impossible to use. (We had to move it, which was difficult and inconvenient.) There was only powder creamer, and not enough of it for a cup of coffee. Is this where they should economize on an expensive room? It seems very ungenerous. There was no place to hang a used towel. This is common to many hotels, but what am I supposed to do with a used towel? The window blind was jammed so we could not easily close it. This was a design flaw I think. These were small problems in a really nice room, but doesn't Hyatt have enough experience designing hotel rooms to get it right?
