Awesome Hotel just outside BostonPosted Aug 29, 2014
Cons: Not to sure if it would be possible to improve what they have to offer!
Location: The location is fantastic! I had a room looking over the river with views to die for! Over the river from Fenway park and short taxi to Boston!
I stayed at the Hyatt for just over two weeks with my youngest boy. From when I booked in to when I left I can not complain about anything! All the staff from the cleaners to senior management go out of there way to make your stay one to remember. The restaurant is first class and would recommend eating in there for breakfast, Lunch and dinner! Again the staff amazing! Thank you to everyone who works there for making it a holiday that I will remember for the rest of my life!

Great access to Boston UniversityPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Access to Boston via shuttle (to BU or Harvard Square), taxi's readily available
Cons: Include wifi- it is expected at this level hotel
We travelled to be near Boston University for soccer games. It was very convenient with a shuttle available daily to go back and forth. Would have appreciated having wifi free in room or at least in lobby (ridiculous to pay) but hotel was convenient for our needs.

Pros: very attentive staff in all areas.
Cons: hotel is aging! also far from local Metro-the MBTA...a shuttle is provided, by staying in Harvard or Kendall square would be greatly preferable!
Location: no good restaurants nearby! must go downtown....
hotel staff were friendly and excellent. but this hotel is getting "old" and a bit worn out. also not near the MBTA, so hard to get into Harvard Square or Downtown Boston with out taking cabs, which run up big bills in a hurry.

Great hotel in great locationPosted Aug 26, 2014
I had a 4 day stay here and it was lovely - i had a river view room which i would recommend to all visitors, I could have watched the rowers and the boats all day! The breakfast was also fantastic - I certainly ate too much but what are holidays for if not to over eat? The hotel also offers free shuttle services to several locations including Harvard square, kendal square etc and this is a very efficient and friendly service.

Enjoyable stayPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Comfy beds, large room, river view
Cons: small items such as a sewing kit could be provided automatically as in most European hotels. same for shoe shine kit.
Location: You'll need to get a taxi but there is a free shuttle bus to 3 or 4 key locations that runs pretty much every 10 minutes. Picks you up again too.
5 days in Boston at a graduation for our daughter. Upgraded to a river view room for an extra charge. Breakfasts were typical American, large, plenty of food, well cooked. Staff were friendly and helpful, although no one in America knows what Brown Sauce is (HP? Daddie's Own?). Beds were large and extremely comfortable, rooms large with a dressing area and a large bathroom well appointed. If you haven't been to the US before you'll find the shower controls odd and counter intuitive. But once you get the hang of it, it all works fine. Hotel were very helpful in hiring a car for a day. Overall a high quality experience and the cost was not astronomic.

Incredibly mediocre hotelPosted Aug 25, 2014
Hotel itself was just fine. Not very convenient to any mass transit and their shuttle service to key areas of Cambridge and Boston run so infrequently it's faster to walk. The views of the Charles River and the Boston skyline are beautiful --- that is, if you're given a room with a view.... We had a lovely view of the parking garage and gym (note sarcasm). I had called ahead because I ordered cupcakes to be delivered to our hotel room as a surprise for my boyfriend -- I called the front desk and asked that once they arrived, could they please be brought to the room. They said of course, but then didn't do so. The staff upon check-in seemed tired and annoyed -- I stood by the counter while 3 different people had their heads down looking at their computers but no guests were there. I finally walked up to one, she looked up at me, said nothing, looked down the counter at another man who then waved us over to check in with him... The bed was comfortable, room was just fine, but overall - I'm sure there are other places in Boston for the same price that would be a more pleasant experience.

took teens to a Harvard sq concert...all had fun !Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Wide open spaces...glass elevators
Cons: did not find a hotel coffee pot for in the lobby.....inhouse starbucks was only option I found
Location: People watching while shopping in Harvard Square, seeing all the fashion and kids returning to college. I was amazed at the amount of bicyclists.
Came from Maine to bring two teens to an end of summer concert at Harvard Sq...their first time in Boston area. My aunt took me school shopping in Boston when I was a teen, so time to pass on the tradition. A good time was had by all ! Loved the view...absolutely peaceful watching sailboats, and kayakers on the river.

Nice Hotel close to MIT, Boston Univ. and FenwayPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: View of Charles River was very nice.
Cons: Breakfast Buffet selection was poor for a charge of $18.00 per person. The maid service MUST ensure clean towels are furnished to the guest.
Location: Good location for walking to MIT, BU and Fenway Park. Hotel shuttle to the T and Fenway was very nice.
Upon arrival we were greeted nicely by the doorman and was able to check in early as requested since our flight arrived at noon. The room was an end room to where we could overlook the Charles River, clean and accommodating. The hotel was quiet very busy due to students arriving at MIT and BU. Saturday morning breakfast buffet was overpriced at $18.00 per person and the variety was not good for that price. We only seen our waiter twice, upon us sitting down and when he gave us our bill, needless to say we didn't tip him well. We went downtown Boston Saturday morning and then to the ballgame Saturday evening. We got back late and upon waking up Sunday morning we noticed that the maid service had forgot to leave us new sets of clean towels. We made due since we had to catch a flight back that morning Upon check out I made mention to the desk clerk and she said she was sorry and it wasn't very sincere. Overall the hotel was nice but I would only stay again if that was my last choice available.

Great stay at the Hyatt!Posted Aug 24, 2014
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt! The rooms where very clean, the beds a little small. The staff was extremely helpfully! Will stay here again on my next visit!
