Good Location, needs rennovation.

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Location: 2 Km from downtown Boston. Right along Charles river.
THe hotel location was excellent, and the staff was friendly. The hotel , halls, lobby, etc, are very dated, and in dire need of a rennovation. The rooms also need rennovation, but not as badly as the lobby and halls.

OK hotel, beautiful view of Harbor.

Great view and convenient HOTEL for the marathon. The bedding was very uncomfortable. The hotel needs a facelift outside and a more pleasing lobby, especially for the price.

Walking distance to Boston University

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: They have a shuttle service that takes you to near by attractions like Harvard square, shopping centers and to local transportation.
Cons: Paint your exterior would be nice and add a shuttle service to the air port.
Location: It was a perfect location for us Since we wanted to have a tour of Boston University. It only took us 10 minutes to walk over the bridge.
My daughter and I took a short trip to check out Boston University. The hotel was bit outdated but people were friendly and our room was nice and clean. They let us check in early in the morning which was nice after flown red eye from Los Angeles.

Great view of the Charles River

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Super competent and efficient room-service staff. Informative front desk personnel. Great views and architecture.
Cons: TV position. Ventilation in room.
Location: It's a bit of a walk to pick up mass transit, but not too bad. (10-15) minutes.
Pros: Super competent and efficient room-service staff. Informative front desk personnel. Great views and architecture. Cons: TV is in awkward position, and cannot be watched comfortably from bed. In room movie and TV were unacceptably dark and controls are locked out so you cannot change them. No fan in bathroom so showers make is muggy and stuffy.

Visited Boston for PAX Convention

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, Pool, Shuttle, Friendliness of Staff
Cons: Air conditioner was not great.
Location: Right next to MIT. Quick Train ride to downtown Boston. Freedom Trail was great.
Hotel was nice. Close to Kendall Station. Hotel has free shuttle to Kendall Station. Pool/Workout facilities were nice, but a little ways from main hotel above parking garage. Breakfast included and was superb! Rooms were clean and roomy. Air conditioning was not working great, but we managed. Staff was GREAT! Overall great experience.

good location/staff but needs updates

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Cons: incl. wifi in the room price and free overnight parking for hotel guests.
The common areas of the hotel need to be updated. It feels like a 80's hotel. Rooms are clean and large but both of my phones didn't work. Also paying $18/day for WiFi and $36/day parking is just too expensive! That's $54 on top of the already pricey room. The gym was nice, which will be update in the near future - I was told.

Great for a quick stay!!

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Location: Perfectly located...a quick cab ride to Fenway, Quincy Market and not ridiculously expensive either!
We only stayed one night but the room was perfect for one night. Convient location to get to different places around Boston. Taxis where waiting outside the hotel which made transportation around the city very easy. Would definitely stay here again!!
