Distance to Fenway

Posted May 4, 2015
The hotel advertises .6 miles from Fenway park. Only if you are a bird. The distance is more like two miles!! I should know because I walked it. Other than that the hotel is nice but I was very disappointed with the false ad related to the park

Close to Fenway, Harvard and so much more !!!

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Location !!!!
Location: Fenway Park, Harvard MIT, Beacon Street, etc.
Terrific staff encounters from the moment we pulled up right through to check out. Terrific time in Boston, Walked to Fenway Park, Harvard area and very centrally located to many area of Beacon Street and more. Watching every morning the skullers out on the river racing their sleek runners against each other was fun and amazing.

Hotels in Boston are expensive

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Shuttle, friendly staff, lightning fast check in and out process
Cons: Design of rooms is not good - obviously cannot be improved. Breakfast should be included in the rate
Location: Location is not really good, unless you get a room with a view to the Charles, which we did not
First we did not like the room - flawed design with the heat not reaching a quite cold bathroom, but the very friendly woman at the front desk relocated us to a better one, six floors above. Shuttle service works good and was of huge help for us.

Professionalism

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Location: There are not much things around except MIT.
Had a great time at the hotel. The staff was great and very professional. We really appreciate them to remember our names and great us all the time. Philip, Caroline and Rory were very the best!

Very good staff. Enjoyed the stay very much. Shuttle vans are very much on point. For the most part take you where you need to go.

Pros: Location. Free morning coffee.
Cons: See above. Also: waitstaff were notably if not spread thin as 2 conversations were overheard between waitstaff and management asking for help.
Location: I was there for the 7th Annual Autism Speaks Fundraiser.
The room was off the main restaurant balcony which was a bit of an eye sore. The wait for dining was long, once seated even longer. Attempting to take a hot bath after returning to the room there was no sign of a drain plug. Calling down for one we were told one would be delivered. Once it became obvious this wasn't happening as it was late I used a glass to semi plug the drain and take a bath. A phone call came in well after we were asleep regarding what was most likely an attempt to deliver a plug more than an hour later. Turned off by pay for additional parking. We paid a lot to stay in this hotel.
