Perfect View of Boston

Posted Jul 22, 2014
If you are looking to stay in the Boston Area this is the place to stay. They offer a very prompt shuttle service to the "T-Line" and will also pick you up upon your call. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to stay for a long weekend with easy access to the Boston area!

Pros: Every thing. The hotel was beautiful. Just a little far from Boston but it is magnificent.
Cons: In the buffet: to include ham in the menu and to improve to eggs and the hash browns.
We love the view and the service. The only thing that we did not like was the buffet.

Very Nice Hotel

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds, an aray of cable channels, Starbucks and complementary WiFi that worked. I have stayed at hotels where the wifi did not work.
Cons: N/A
Location: Places to see African American Heritage Trail, Boston Tea Party, Quincy Marketplace(varies ethnic eateries) Ferry over too Salem. Tour on the Trolley.
I recommend the Hyatt Regency Cambridge as a place to stay. It is offers seclusion away from the Metropolitan area of downtown Boston.

Okay

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Accessibility from airport and downtown, very comfortable.
Room very small for two adults even tho beg was king size. Only one chair to sit on, no refrigerator, had to call for towels, wash cloths and shower mat a couple of times. View was great (over looked the Charles River). Dining was very good, buffet excellent and wait staff very good. To get to Kendall Square via Hyatt van excellent, to get a taxi to downtown also excellent and everyone courteous..

Average hotel near Fenway Park

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Fenway Park
Cons: Please see the previous comments
Location: See previous comments
We made a reservation for a king sized bed, double occupancy. When we arrived there was only one comfortable chair and one desk chair in the room. There was only one paper cup for coffee. We called the conceriege for an additional comfortable chair - there was plenty of room for it in the room. We were told that it was not possible. When we stopped at the front desk and asked for the same things, they were pleasant and said it would be taken care of. We did get additional paper cups but the chair was a joke! The desk chair was more comfortable! Not very good accommodations for double occupancy. Also, the remote control did not work very well. The price of the hotel room was $348 for one night and then charged an additional $35 for parking for one night!

Last minute booking with a fantastic outcome

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Found out early in the AM that a friend had free Red Sox tickets. I had a friend in town from Arizona that wanted to go but had an outbound flight first thing the next morning. We didn't want to take two cars in so he told me to find a hotel. The Hyatt Regency was top on the list (not sorted by price) and we were not disappointed.

Food and Parking

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Not really
Cons: Yes.....Guests shoudn't have to park and the food was way overpriced given te quality wasn't that good.
They charge $35.00 per day for parking in the garage but there is no other place to park. You pay good money for a room and they charge you to park? Ridiculous. The food wasn't that good and way over priced. $43 per/person for a dinner Buffet? Are you kidding me? And $20.00 per person for a breakfast buffet? Give me a break. I will never stay at a Hyatt again. I stayed a 4seasons hotels and Hiltons and they are much better and not to much more expensive. The room didn't even have a refrigerator

Could use an up date

The room was adequate but the lampshades were torn, the soap dish was chipped, there were tiles missing in the bathroom and there was a cabinet for a fridge but no fridge. The location is the best part of the hotel.
