Nice hotel near the subway, Quincy market and pier

The hotel pool was closed at 8 on Saturday and Sunday, and no change room. The breakfast doesn't have many selections comparing the charge.

Perfect location

Pros: Beautiful rooms, huge flat screen tv, comfortable beds, upscale dining and excellent patio bar with a great view. Location couldn't have been better.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to the Long Wharf, Faneuil Hall, Freedom Trail, USS Constitution, South Station, James Hook Lobster Co., Seaport, Lots of dining options.
Great hotel. Inilta (the front desk manager) made us feel welcome and important despite the fact that we only travel a few times per year. Courteous staff and beautiful hotel in a great location. Only a few steps to the transit system. Could walk to most attractions. Fenway is a hike, but a short subway ride. Concierge gave us excellent recommendations for dinner and attractions. Patio bar was exceptional overlooking the seaport.

This is a wonderful hotel in a fantastic location - right on the water, and within walking distance to many of Boston's historical sights. And its only a 15 walk to the North End filled with wonderful Italian restaurants. James Hook and Co., famous for their lobster rolls, is right next door! Don't miss eating here!

Super stay

Loved the beautiful hotel, extremely friendly staff, and AMAZING location! Within walking distance to so many fun Boston experiences. Loved the Tea Party experience right outside the hotel. Miel was delicious! Great bar staff, too! All in all a perfect stay! Also, the hotel design as a "tall ship" is inspired. Love this place!

Overlooking the Boston Harbour

Awesome hotel, several things to do within walking distance. The hotel restaraunt was excellent and was one of the highlights of the trip. The staff was great. I highly recommend it.

Great room with a beautiful tub and shower! The bed was incredibly comfortable. Pool hours are limited, however.

Grat hotel, good location

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: the location, amenities and staff
Cons: nothing!
Location: Boston Tea Party museum, very doable walk to Freedom Train and Boston Common
The hotel inter-continental is a luxury hotel with all the amenities, but it was also surprisingly kid friendly- mainly due to the staff. Upon checking in, Alejandro (bell hop) and Sam, at the desk- struck up a conversation with our sons about a Red Sox game we were going to be attending and later we found two miniature Red Sox bats- along with personal notes for each of the boys- in our room. Stuffed animals were arranged in fun ways each night and the kids loved the pool. Overall a great experience. Staff also gave us great info. on restaurants nearby and other fun attractions. Boston Tea Party Museum right behind the hotel was great!

Location: Near financial district. Walked to many good restaurants near by. Near waterfront.
Was able to walk to most locations in Boston from this location. The lobby bar was nice and relaxing in the evening. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Hotel staff all very nice.
