"Great Location"
We chose this hotel for it's proximity to the downtown tourist spots. It's across the street from Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, walking distance to the Aquarium and Freedom Trail. Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough to take advantage of this. There are a number of restaurants to sample so you didn't need to drive. Would definitely return when it's warmer. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Room was impeccable and spacious.

"Truly exceptional service!"
I stay frequently in the Boston/Cambridge area. The Hyatt has typically not been on my list because it is somewhat distant from where I usually need to be. But after my experience this time, I may choose to stay there even if it is a bit out of the way. I arrived with laryngitis. The hotel clerk who checked me in was amazing. In addition to warmly taking care of check-in, she arranged to send up complimentary chicken soup (delicious!) and tea with honey. Over the two days that I was there, numerous staff went out of their way to make my life easier and more enjoyable. And the food in the restaurant and via room service was excellent. If you like to take public transit, the Hyatt is a bit of a walk from the nearest T stations (roughly 1 mile away). But if you like to walk, then MIT, Back Bay, and Harvard Square are all within striking distance, along lovely riverside paths.
