MIT move in weekend

Pros: very quiet rooms
Cons: I wish access to the parking garage did not require passing by the smelly dumpsters for the supermarket next door
Location: off the main, noisy road but easily accessible to the campus area
I was disappointed only that the hotel said they could not honor my request for two beds. They said this is only a request via Expedia and they are not obligated to honor that request. Since they were fully booked, they had no other rooms available. This was not a major problem for us during this stay, but I will keep that in mind for future reference when booking through Expedia

Great place

Pros: Rooms were great and breakfast had a very good selection.
Stayed one night, but it was very nice and comfortable. Great breakfast! NOTE: you can park on the street for free from 6pm to 8am, then feed meter for 2 more hours. Then you will need to move your car, but it is perfect if you leave at 10am

Nice hotel, noisy air-con

Pros: Location is good.
Cons: Air con
Location: Nice walks to Harvard Square or Kendall Square.
Stayed for two nights. The hotel is nice, close to MIT. The room is not very large but adequate. The problem, at least in my case, was the air con that was extremely noisy. I did not turn it off because it was quite hot, so everytime it restarted it waked me up. Not nice.

Room request

The only thing which was bad about this hotel is that they did not honor the room type we requested from Expedia. The staffs flat out tells you that when there is guests getting rooms directly from them with higher rates, they will give rooms to them even though your reservation from Expedia is earlier. We really needed 2 queen beds, but had to settle with 1 King and a roller bed. They did give us 2 queen beds the next day. The hotel's free breakfast buffet is the nicest I have ever been to. Also, it included free admission to MIT museum a block up from the hotel.

Pros: The cleanness and the personnel that great you. The bed are very comfortable and plenty of pillow.
Cons: The dining room service. I know there was a game on TV and the place was empty but my salmon should not have been over cook not to say almost burn.
Location: Excellent Irish Pub and the MIT.
On arrival the service was perfect from the time we got out of the car to the check in. the personnel very charming and give all information very clearly. The valet service is excellent. The room was very clean and ready in time. We like the security access to the room.

Great location and great hotel

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, very comfortable bed, nice lobby,
Location: Located in a great neighborhood--college area. Good cafes and restaurants nearby. Not too far of a walk to MIT, Harvard or the river.
We were very impressed by the appearance and the cleanliness of the hotel. It is in a great location in Cambridge, within walking distance to MIT, and not too far from Harvard Square either. There are also quite a few good places to eat nearby. I'd definitely stay here again.

Noisy mechanical equipment

Pros: All good save the fact it was hard to sleep because of noisy AC
Cons: Fix the AC
This hotel had everything,,,,,, location, good price, nice facilities, nice rooms,,,,,,,HOWEVER, The Air Conditioning unit constantly every few minutes made a terrible and loud noise,,,this noise was so bad my small daughter stayed horrified both nights we stayed there and we all had a hard time sleeping .....maintenance would not fix it....I had friends who said same was happening in their rooms and also heard this from a front desk complaint I overheard while,checking out....I would be reluctant to stay there again.
