“Perfect location”
We were going to the theater and wanted to stay downtown. This hotel was the perfect location, easy walk to the Boston Common, theater district and next to Quincy Market with lots of lunch/dinner choices. We were also just a few minutes walk to the wonderful North End of Boston where food, pastries and quaint streets await. Our room overlooked the Quincy Market and with the holiday lights it was beautiful. We waited for our room in the lounge watching the football game and it was comfortable, great couches and chairs and the staff was very attentive.
“very impressed”
we stayed here for our 10yr anniversary. They upgraded our room and gave us complimentary dessert and champagne. Gabriel the concierge was excellent. The Italian restaurant he recommended was amazing and he made them aware of our special occassion and the restaurant also hooked us up for our anniversary. The location was perfect...hotel perfect as well. They even had yummy starbucks apple cider in the lobby. I wasn't sure where to stay....I was willing to spend more for a fancier hotel but was afraid I would be disappointed and that it wouldn't meet my expectations. I am very glad I chose the Millenium Bostonian Hotel....it exceeded all of my expectations and was well worth the money. We will definitely be back. THANK YOU for a wonderful 2 night stay. :)
“Perfect Stay”
They have done a fantastic job updating this from a stuffy Boston hotel to a nice modern European feel. Rooms are great, and you can't beat the location. We'll be back!
“Average”
The hotel is fine however they can improve certain things. The linens, pillows etc. And the valet parking was quick but yet expensive.
“Very satisfying”
My wife and I enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel immensely. The location was perfect for our needs - Faneuil Hall is across the street, numerous outstanding restaurants within walking distance and, as a pleasant surprise, a cigar bar adjacent to the hotel. The in-room bar was convenient and the hotel service was friendly and helpful. A McDonalds and a donut shop within 100 yards of the hotel made for cheep breakfast runs in the mornings, however, the Eggs Benedict in our room on our last day was excellent. The front desk attendant was friendly and helped us with a car rental for a day from a near by Enterprise location. The only negative I had was that ice had to be delivered to the room since there was no ice machine on the floor. The hotel was a bit pricey but I have no complaints.
“A gem on the Freedom Trail”
Located just across the street from historic Faneuil Hall and around the corner from the country's oldest tavern, the Millennium Bostonian is an oasis of luxury in the Boston Harbor area. The exotic woodwork, gas fireplace and library make for a lobby that is very chic. Our room was spacious and tasteful, and included a tiny balcony with working french doors. Coffee is brewed and waiting when you get off the elevator. And the staff were unerringly warm and helpful. Despite having three children living in this town, we'll never stop getting lost or get accustomed to this city's bizarre traffic patterns. However, the scenic harbor, nearby museums, great alehouses and shopping more than make up for these inconveniences.
“Boston at it's Best”
The Millennium Bostonian Hotel was in a wonderful location! Walking distance to all downtown, North End and Beacon Hill sites. Close to all the hop on/off trolleys, boat rides and the aquarium. The pubs are at your back door and Fannuiel Hall/Quincy Market are across the street. All employees we encountered were helpful and nice. View from hotel was the parking lot/alley but we weren't in our room but to sleep! Very clean rooms.Good breakfast and drinks at the hotel's restaurant. We will be staying here again.
“Great Location”
I was there for pleasure and found the location to be ideal with great access to the interstates. The refreshment center uses an automated billing process based on "movement" within the center. Even after being advised at check- in I found multiple items on my itemized bill as I was leaving. The wireless was adequate but for the cost I thought the access should have been secured... The staff were exceptional!
“Millennium Bostonian Hotel - High Recommendation”
Location of Hotel is perfect. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Right in the middle of all of the sightseeing attractions. No issues with neighborhood noise in the evenings. Will absolutely stay at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel on my next visit. Only thing we didn't like was the hotel restaurant was STUPID expensive. But there were so many restaurants withing 2 blocks walking distance, it wasn't a problem. Also, we never touched the snacks and refrigerated drinks in room again, because of the crazy prices, but at checkout we got a bill for $42 for items housekeeping said was taken. The charges for these items were waived after we complained. So check you bill periodically during your stay. This was the best vacation we have ever taken, and the Millennium Bostonian Hotel was one of the reasons.
“LOVE this hotel!”
This hotel is very modern and comfortable! The location could not be better! When we first got there the hotel put us in a room that looked over a parking lot and highway - a call to the lobby and they upgraded us to the front facing room with balcony and fireplace - at no additional cost. Couldn't be happier with the room or the central location of the hotel. We got home and began booking our next trip back right away!
