A very helpful staff

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Nothing
Location: Fanueil Hall, Quincy markey, and North End are all just a couple minutes away.
The hotel was perfectly situated for us- it was RIGHT next to Fanueil Hall and the North End. We were first placed on the 3rd floor, and we're light sleepers, so we asked to be moved up and they helped us with it. They were very accomodating and the hotel is very well located.

Cons: More sound proof windows.
Location: Right at Quincy Market. Beautiful view.
The complimentary breakfast for Elite Expedia members was outstanding. Steak and eggs, stuffed french toast, sides, and drinks etc. The full menu at their adjoining restaurant was served with a smile. I found this to be the most impressive part of the stay.

Great Location and Views

Great location right across the street from Quincy Market. Definitely spring for the rooms with the views of Faneuil Hall, ours had a balcony which was great - looked out over the city, and all the christmas lights!

Convenient Spot

Posted Nov 30, 2014
Pros: Close to Quincy, Faneuil & Haymarket.
Cons: Replace the rugs. In the room and hallways - they need it. Yuk!
Hotel staff could be a bit friendlier and more attentive. Close to Quincy. The room I stayed in was small, not a lot of space to move around. Hotel has a non-smoking policy but the rug in my room showed signs of cigarette burns - disappointing and time to upgrade the carpeting. I would stay again if I got a deal.

Great experience - Will be back!

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: Helpful staff, comfortable bed, clean and very nice decor. Also we got upgraded to a room with a balcony without even asking. Service excellence.
Cons: The only one thing that we took off a small mark for was the heater in our room was very loud (seemed to be broken). We turned it off to sleep.
Stayed at the Millenium during a 3 day stay in Boston and was very happy with the hotel. We loved that it is right across the street from Fanueil Hall/Quincy Market, walking distance to TD Gardens and an easy train ride from the airport! Lots of food options all around and so much to see without ever needing a cab.

Noisy

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Location: location great, adjacent to Faneuil Hall
The room was nice enough and clean. However, the noise from the street was terrible. Entire conversations could be heard, as well as street noise and leaf blowers, etc. I expect some background noise in a big city, but this was beyond acceptable. I think some new glass is in order.

Overpriced and room heater was terrible

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Overall I was not very happy with my stay at the Millennium Bostonian on Boston. My wife and I had a 1 night stay in the hotel. The lobby of the hotel was small but very nice. I had high hopes for the room since I was paying $500 a night (including taxes, fees, and valet parking). The room was nothing special. My reservation was for "Superior Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony". There was no Balcony on the room. Just a large window with an awning hanging over it. The room was small, looked a little dated, but was fine overall. The worse part was the heater in the room. The heater would kick on and off every so often, automatically to keep the room temperature up. Well this thing was so loud when it came on AND when it shut off, that it woke us up every time, multiple times throughout the night. So we didn't get a good night's sleep at all. Also the hotel must be very close to a local bar because we could hear music and bass thumping from somewhere, late into the night, so that didn't help things. It was like someone in the room next door was blasting a stereo.

Millenium Boston Hotel

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable beds, well insulated rooms, great shower.
Cons: Why would a hotel of this quality install 15" toilets instead of 17"?
Location: Very close to the hop on, hop off trolley lines, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, and the Freedom Trail.
Quality hotel at a great rate with a 'deal' scored on Expedia.
