Only decent part of this place was the location

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: That it was across the street from the Quincy Market, mind you you couldnt see it from the "balcony" as it was on the opposite side of the building.
Cons: Everything. When two adults are staying in a room, they could atleast give you 2 mini shampoos and conditioners.
Location: The location was the only benefit of this place. We walked to the aquarium, and to the quincy market, and to the T to go the the museum with ease.
We showed up later in the pm to find out that we HAD to have Valet parking for an extra 47 dollars a night charge. BUT we couldnt pull in because there was a car pulling out and there was only enough room for one at a time at the entrance so we had to circle the block again. A boston block is no picnic. So we get there and hand over our keys, the staff was not friendly at all, more stuffy than anything resembling personable. The nicest part of the whole place was the valet circle and MAYBE the corner of the lobby with the fireplace. All downhill from there. My floor was so dim lit it looked like a horror movie set. You'd think the lack of light would cover up the carpet stains, but if anything it accentuated it. It felt gross walking down it as it was really shabby and dirty feeling. We walked into the room which was mostly hallway, and disappointment slapped me in the face. The furniture was all scratched up and outdated, the tub was disgustingly dingy to the point where I felt bad for my feet just standing in it to shower. It was a nice shade of dirty brown in all the grip on the bottom of the oversized waste of a tub that I wouldnt let anyone I loved soak in if our life depended on it. The room looked nothing like the pictures, it was not at all cheerful and the view was of an intersection. The balcony was laughable as it was barely big enough for one person to stand on - glad I had to pay extra for the room upgrade. We didnt even bother with the second night.

My Fathers dream vacation!!

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Everyone was very nice and asked if we were alright during our trip. Location was excellent! Very easy to get around.
Cons: Parking! Just before the trip I had an oil change. Upon my return, I took the car back for a leak. My Valet parked car was damaged by Valet parking!
My Dad's dream was to go back to his home state and town and see his team the Boston Red Sox play at Fenway. Dad is 77 and in poor health. Legally blind and on dialysis. This trip meant everything for him!! The hotel gave them a great room facing Faneuil Hall. It had a skylight and king size bed. Peter from the front desk had send up a bottle of wine, a gift set of wine opener and decanter, as well as flowers! Accompanied with a sweet note to my dad. This made my Dad feel special and happy. Our room was across from them and I have to say DO NOT GET A BALCONY! I thought it was something we could all go out and sit on outside. It was just an glorified window that opened and you could step out only. Ours faced an alley and was a waste of $100! Other then that and the fact the the Valet parking attended damaged my car by driving over something. The place was very excellent!

Excellent hotel in the heart of Boston.

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Quality, amenities, location
Location: Located at Faneuil Hall, an easy walk to downtown, the North End, plenty of restaurants, the waterfront, shopping and the T.
We have stayed at the Millennium many times and have never been disappointed. The room was large with a very comfortable king size bed. We had a nice view of Faneuil Hall and downtown Boston. The room has all the amenities you would expect and all are high quality.

The hotel staff was excellent. Extremelly polite and helpful. We would return to this hotel whenever we are in Boston. Very close to Little Italy and Quincy Market. We just parked our car and walked to many restaurants, Farmers Market and shopping. Tours were very interesting and well run.

Nice hotel at a great location

Posted Aug 18, 2014
We flew into Boston from Reno airport at about 7 am and was concerned if we would allow early check in as we were all tired and badly need some sleep n bath..WE were then pleasantly surprised as the reception promptly checked us in early at 8 am without us asking. The hotel is also located to great sights and is just opposite to the Quincy market place line d with restaurants and shops. Harbour area was within walking distance

close to it all down town and the heritage trail

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: proximity
Cons: parking is very expensive and for the price, could have thrown wi fi in ($120 motels can do it!)
Location: Heritage Trail
we wanted something central so we could do the heritage trail - was ideal

Very nice hotel close to many attractions.

This is a fabulous hotel with nice amenities. The hotel is walking distance to many attractions. Some rooms have steps down into the room, so be sure to ask if this is a problem for you. Would stay there again!
