“Great location”

Located in the Theater district, walking distance to Government Center, Newbury Street and other prime destinations in Boston. The service was great, I had requested a refrigerator for the room -- often hotels don't put this in until I check in and ask for it again, but this hotel had the refrigerator already in the room and plugged in. The only complaint was that the room was VERY small, but since we didn't spend any time in the hotel except to sleep, that was fine.

“Intimate, Affordable Gem in the Heart of Downtown Boston”

Built in the late 1800's, the Milner felt solid and comfortable. Friendly staff and guests together with comparatively small rooms (relative to McMansion hotels) provided a warm, intimate atmosphere more typical of European hotels. Housekeeping was excellent. My room rate was much less than I would have expected for Boston and a great continental breakfast was included with a good variety of choices. Location couldn't be better: everything is within walking distance (or a short T-ride if you prefer.)

“Small and cozy...”

We only spent one night at the Milner, but we enjoyed it a lot. Definitelly would go there every time. Small, cozy, homey, super clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice, good complimentary breakfast, free applea at the fropnt desk. Great location.

“Affordable and simple”

When I booked this hotel, I read the reviews and saw a bunch of complaints about the size of the room. So I was a little wary when we opened the door, but it's a decent size. I mean, if you plan on spending a good portion of your trip in your hotel room, then maybe this isn't the best hotel, but it was very comfortable and it served its purpose. And the people who worked there were incredibly nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

“Nice, quaint hotel”

The rooms are small and the elevator is tiny, but, the hotel was built in 1877, so I was glad that it even had an elevator. Although the room was small, it was clean, in good condition and everything worked. I was only in the hotel to sleep and all hotel rooms look the same when you are sleeping. Overall, I was very happy with the hotel and its location. It was convenient to everything I needed

“old world charm+good price”

The Milner is not a big fancy place, but a small, comfy little hotel that gave us the feel of stepping back in time. The room was a bit small but fine for us, and the view from our window was great. The breakfast bar was the best part of our stay; visitors can make their own waffles, have cereal from a selection of different kinds, fruit, danish, juice, coffee, and so on. Thestaff was very friendly and helpful, and we were within walking distance of Boston Common, the theater district, and the financial district. I will definitely stay there again when I go to Boston.

“Milner a Boston Bargain”

Great location, nice clean hotel, small rooms but a great deal for the money. If this is like my other experiences, the low pricing won't last.

“Great Value”

Cute little hotel right in the theater district 2 blocks from the Boston Common. Clean, safe, full amenities, nothing fancy. I stayed on the 5th floor and had a nice view out towards the Hancock and Prudential buildings. Highly recommend 'The Milner'.
