Very well situated

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay, the location of the hotel is perfect for anyone wanting to visit Boston.
Location: The hotel is very well situated. Newbury street is a very busy street with many stores and restaurants.
The hotel is situated close to down town Boston, we enjoyed a great complementary breakfast as well as comfortable rooms. The staff was extremely helpful.

For That Boston Feel

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Husband and I stayed one night. Plenty to do right out the front doors. Comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Only thing: somehow we always end up in the room next to the elevator which was pretty loud. We'd stay again for sure.

Perfectly close to convention center

Posted Jul 16, 2015
So close to the convention center, so many great restaurants nearby, gym (boston sports club) up the block and a nice walk to Fenway. Had such a great stay here over night while in town for business.

Location, location, location.....very nice

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: The Location and the breakfast were my two favorite things about the Newbury Guest House.
Cons: More plug-ins in the room A shelf in the bathroom
Location: The Public Library, T station, a CVS and tons of restaurants are all within a few blocks.
My wife and I stayed here for 5 days for the fourth of July weekend. The location is great, only a few blocks from the T and tons of restaurants and shops around. it was an easy walk to the Skywalk, duck tours, public library, and logan express. The Newbury was very quite, clean and friendly the three things I look for in a good hotel. One of my favorite amenities was the breakfast. Each morning they offered real eggs (both scrambled and poached), bacon, sausage, mixed fruit, croissants, OJ and coffee. The beds are pretty comfy and the mini fridge worked well. The internet worked fine and was free.

Old world charm with modern amenities

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean and refurbished and served a fantastic complimentary breakfast. WiFi was available.
Cons: The rate, for us, is prohibitive.
Location: Art galleries, Boston Commons, multiple eateries, Copley mall, Kenmore, subway, Trident Bookstore.
We stayed at the Newbury Guest House for a short vacation in Boston. We liked the location, on Newbury St, close to Copley and Kenmore Sq. The neighborhood is filled with eateries and art galleries, and walking distance from the Boston Commons.

Charmant pied-à-terre dans Back Bay

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Personnel attentif et serviable. Hôtel pittoresque tout dans le charme de Back Bay. Le déjeuner ne varie pas d'un jour à l'autre mais est excellent avec de vrais croisant à la française. J'y retourne n'importe quand.

Charming guest-house in a good location

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Cons: The optionof an earlier (continental) breakfast - not a problem for me but would have been had I been catching an early flight out of Boston
Location: All of Boston is readily accessible by public transport.
The Newbury guest-house is a conversion of a fine,19th century Boston brown-stone house. My room was as comfortable and well-equipped as a room in a high-class business hotel, but with the addition of character and charm. Newbury street is full of interesting shops and cafe-style restaurants and the nearest metro station (Copley Square) is a few minutes walk away.
