“Clean and Centrally Located”

We arrived at 11 AM and the room was ready. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient to the Hynes T stop and shopping district. The staff was not overly 'service oriented' but we liked it that way. The breakfast is extremely basic (cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, english muffins and one large pan of eggs and bacon). The hotel was exactly what we needed: a clean, well located place.

If you have business at the Hynes Convention Center on Boylston Street, this is the perfect place to stay: two blocks away, reasonably priced, nicely maintained, professionally staff: full marks!

everything I needed was within 3 blocks--transportation, restaurants, shopping, and parks! Other than my problem with a heavy bag and the front stairs, a problem I know how to solve... now.....I will stay at this hotel again.

Stayed two days with a friend, we're both really satisfied with the service. Free wifi and complimentary breakfast which was repetitive but still superb. Staff were really accomodating when I needed to use the fax machine twice, and helped me a lot with it. Free computer and printing usage on the ground floor as well. AWESOME!!

“Newbury Very good”

This hotel was a great choice. We took Amtrak and the station was about eight blocks away. Check in was easy and we were able to pull the car around back to load up on check out. The neighborhood is great and surprisingly quite. We did however need to travel each day for the tourist stuff. Staff was very helpful.

This place was FANTASTIC! The only issue I had was that their hot water heater broke the second morning I was there. They were very apologetic and gave me a partial refund for the stay.

Newberry Guest House is a perfect mix of charm and comfort. The breakfast was very good. The location could not be better, what a bonus to be a walk away from Fenway!
