“Great Hotel! Professional, Friendly Staff!”
We had a GREAT time in Boston! Perfect hotel, great neighborhood!
“Would definitely return”
Well-designed and appointed but not to the point of being overdone. Room was comfortable. Good location close to Quincy Market and Back Bay. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
“Stunning view in Boston”
Walked in at night to find wraparound windows with a stunning view of the State House dome and Park Street Church steeple, both lit up like a postcard. In the morning, found ourselves looking over the Common and the Charles River as well. Definitely worth opting for a room with a view. The room itself was a bit small, but nicely finished...as was everything downstairs...and the room service was great, so we were very happy. It's also a great location, with easy access to lots of tourist attractions and the T to various parts of the city.
“lovely small boutique hotel”
I have stayed at the Nine Zero a number of times while in Boston and always feel comfortable there. The staff is friendly, accommodating and competent. The rooms are small, but well appointed and comfortable. It feels posh without being pretentious. The hotel is extremely well located - near a couple of subway stations and bus stops, downtown crossing, the boston common and lots of restaurants. It will always be my first choice in Boston.
“Great stay”
A bit pricey but, the hotel was excellent. You get what you pay for. The location was reasonable and quick to get from Route 93, there are a couple of blocks of downtown traffic to wade through but not too much to deal with. That being said, the location of the hotel is ideal for walking/touring about Boston. The room was modern and clean and had a great view looking west over the Boston Commons to the Charles River. The front desk was even nice enough to send us up complementarity chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for on our anniversary.
“Great hotel near city sights.”
The service is exceptional, and the free wine in the evening a nice touch. The hotel is very clean and entire staff very helpful. Parking is expensive, but all in all, a very nice place to stay.
“Recommend Highly”
Great hotel all around. Was greeted warmly by valet and then again by hotel desk. Upon checking in I asked if I could perhaps get something with a decent view (as I know in tight quarters Boston neighborhoods it is easy to get a view of an alley or brick wall if you aren't careful, even in the best hotels) and the desk clerk immediately upgraded me to the next level of room at no extra charge and gave me a great corner room on the top floor with views of the State House and the Charles. Fantastic room. It was small but I'll trade space for location any day and Nine Zero is right in the middle of everything I wanted to be walking distance to...Faneuil Hall, North End, Waterfront, Beacon Hill, Downtown, etc. Kind of odd that these very modern rooms still don't have flat screen TV's...at least mine didn't but not an issue to me. An all around winner. Planning on staying there again on my next visit to Boston in November.
“Best of Boston”
What do you want out of a hotel? This establishment has the best of location, comfort, cleanliness along with a friendly, helpful staff. Off all the places we stayed on our lengthy trip of New England this summer, this place was by far the best. Looking for great room service food? This place serves up delectable dishes from the K.O. restaurant attached to it below. Prefer a convenient minibar? This one has a wider more original selection than any prior personally seen. Wanna socialize a bit? Each evening an included wine and beer happy hour in the stylish, comfortable lobby takes place...they even have Wii to entertain your kids! Desiring an authentic Irish Pub to get the stereotypical Boston experience? The Beantown Pub is literally 15 steps from the front door. How 'bout sightseeing? An historical cemetery is within view across the street (Sam Adams is there) and the best bus tour stop is just a few minutes walk along the edge of nearby Boston Commons. Afraid to drive in Boston? Getting to and from the highway is simple and straightforward, avoiding most of the nightmare traffic hotspots. Put plainly, we would return to this hotel in a heartbeat...and likely will
“Great Boston Location”
It was a wonderful hotel, one of the best I stayed at. The only problem, was that the front of the hotel was not clearly marked and the valet service, was actually on a side street. Overall a great experience.
“Excellent stay”
What an excellent vacation in Boston! It was enhanced by the Nine Zero accomodations as well as the location of the hotel. The staff, especially the concierge were very helpful and pleasant. The room was great but needed a vent in the bathroom. Not a big deal but a bit bothersome. We also enjoyed seeing dogs in the hotel.
