Great hotel, excellent staff

Posted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: location to center of town
With the help of Expedia, on short term notice we got a room at Nine Zero. All of the staff was helpful, they even got us on a tour of the city. We literally had to do nothing ourselves.

Enjoyed the stay, hotel staff and facilities were

Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Great location, very helpful staff.
Cons: The upstairs bar could be open 7 days for guests returning late as a place to meet and share the day.
Location: Excellent location, short walk from the city centre, theatre land and right on the freedom trail. Park and common very close. Great location.
Super hotel in a great location. Ask for a higher room to get the full benefit of the view, it is stunning.

Hi Ian, I’m glad you enjoyed our central location, accommodating staff and exquisite view. I’m sorry our Highball Lounge isn’t open 7 days a week, but fortunately there are so many nearby bars and pubs. We hope to see you again soon, Thomas

Nice hotel

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: It is a nice hotel in a great location.
Cons: The hotel held our bags but did not label our bags well and didn't know which ones were ours. It didn't feel secure after picking them up.
HOtel was great, clean, etc. We were able to walk to most places and enjoyed getting to know the city.

Hip and romantic stay

Posted Oct 27, 2014
We stayed a night at Nine Zero seeing that it had been called romantic. We had a nice time. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our particular room was a little small but very well appointed. The location and the view were excellent. Everything was quite modern and chic without being overdone. The restaurant was good for breakfast.

After the Head of the Charles Regatta

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: Location and it had a bit of a edgyness about its interior design.
Cons: The bathroom could be more dynamic.
Location: The location is superb and close to Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Chinatown, Theatre District, Northside, Harbourfront and the Freedom Trail.
All was very good. The bed was extremely comfortable, big, as expected in a quality North American hotel and good bed linen, with down duvet and pillows. The Skyline View Guest Room was wonderful but noise can be a problem, early morning sanitation service vehicles, even from the 16th floor, if the window is open. The room was large with plenty of space to leave two large suitcases out. The bathroom was somewhat disappointing and there was not a separate shower and the bathtub was dated - minor points but !

Hello canadiangary, I’m glad you enjoyed our central location, modern décor, and outstanding view. I certainly wish we could do away with the city noise, and I’m sorry the bathroom didn’t meet your expectations. We hope to see you again, Thomas

The hotel was conventiently located in Downtown Boston and was a short cab ride from the airport. When I return to Boston on business I will be staying at Nine Zero.

Not what it used to be

Posted Oct 20, 2014
I will admit the timing is my fault! I chose to visit Boston on one of the busiest weekends of the year for family reasons. I chose this hotel because my usual haunts were booked out and it's location is excellent , and I had stayed here once ten years ago and it was fun. Well overall it was a bit of a let down. On the plus side the room service staff are courteous to a fault. On the negative side the room was very cramped with a broken bathroom door( I got stuck in there but managed to extricate myself from under the sliding door). The hotel no longer had a restaurant and the bar was very juvenile rather than 'hip' or whatever they may have been going for. Rubber ducks and magnetic alphabets? I don't think that demographic are old enough for cocktails! It's a fantastic location ready for refreshing . What was once fresh and new is tired and vastly overpriced. Back to Copley Square for me, at least I know what I am getting.

Hello FMD, I was pleased to note you found our room service team to be accommodating and that you enjoyed our central location. I’m sorry you had to pull a Houdini to leave the bathroom and that our new lounge wasn’t your cup of tea. Regards, Thomas

Cramped and Awkward

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: Convenient to the "T."
Cons: They could start by training the staff to be more attentive.
The room was small and the bathroom poorly laid out. The bed was only so-so. No refrigerator and we had to hunt for the ice machine. Don't even think about parking in the area. Disappointing for the money.

Hello Robert, I’m sorry if you felt our staff did not provide you with enough care and comfort. We can empty out your mini-bar or deliver a separate fridge to your room; and there is an ice machine at the end of each hallway. We do offer overnight valet parking with in and out privileges. Regards, Thomas
