Best place to stay in BostonPosted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Every single thing
Perfect location for tourists, very reasonable price, friendly staff, cleanness, comfort. Kitchen with a fridge, microwave, boiling water. Breakfasts! They have all you need, I can't think of a better place to stay

Nice hotel right in downtown BostonPosted Aug 19, 2014
In is in an older building in an old part of Boston, so the rooms are not huge but the service more than makes up for it. There is also a large and inviting common area for guests to use, both a patio and a front room. Would recommend great place to stay!

Small room with stairs but great share bathroomPosted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: It was extremely clean, the included breakfast was really good and the location excellent.
Cons: Would be hard to do, but a lift for carrying up luggage.
Location: Great location close to Fenway park and Back Bay for good restaurants and shopping mall. Easy access to metro for downtown and other areas.
We arrived to find the guest house on a nice quiet back street in back bay. Superb location to dine out in the back bay area with easy connection on the metro to other areas of boston.

Quaint and cozy townhouse in Back BayPosted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Location is excellent: near Boston Symphony, Fine Arts Museum, Gardiner Musiem, with a Whole Foods and other necessary stores 2 blocks away.
Cons: A bigger eating area would make the breakfast experience less clumsy. Better sound insulation for the ground floor room.
Location: Walking distance to Reflecting Pool, Boston Symphone, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Isabell Gardiner House.
We wanted a quiet place, and it was, in general. In our ground floor room we could hear the front desk loud and clear. Guests are of the courteous type; staff is very helpful. The continental breakfast had ample choice. Since we did not have a car, the proximity to excellent public transportation is a real plus.

Great place to stay near FenwayPosted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Clean - quiet - location - staff - breakfast - comfortable - price
Location: Neighborhood location. Nearby is Fenway Park; Back Bay Fens (a nice park with walking paths and gardens,) Whole foods, Quincy Market, Harbor, museums
We were in town for a ball game and wanted a place to stay close to Fenway. Oasis was the only reasonably priced lodging anywhere near the park. Keith the inkeeper was personable and efficient. We arrived early and he offered to store our luggage until check in time. He also advised us not to leave the car unattended on the street because police issue tickets really quickly. We were fortunate to arrive early enough to get on site parking. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. Common areas were attractively decorated and clean. Included continental breakfast was very good, with a good variety of items and beverages. Keith was very helpful by answering any of our questions about the surrounding area. Any of the housekeeping staff we passed by were friendly. It was a pleasant 10 to 15 minute walk to Fenway. We would definitely stay at Oasis again when we are in Boston.

Don't waste your money!Posted Jul 30, 2014
Really, guys? Cramped, old, unattractive in all ways. Breakfast unremarkable. Great location, though. And quiet. Spend a few bucks more and triple the enjoyment. We spent lots for a room barely larger than the double bed, with shared bath and walking up two flights of stairs. Never again.

Ideal for short stayPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Excellent location.
Cons: N/A. Excellent staff, facilities as advertised. However, be aware there are no lifts.
Walking distance to down town Boston, yet sufficiently tucked away from the traffic and noise. You get what you paid for - which isn't much in terms of frills - but excellent value for money. Be aware there are no lifts and may not be the best for those travelling with lots of luggage!
