“Nice hotel with ongoing construction”
We stayed only one night. Comfortable cozy clean room. We did not care for beds with adjustable "sleep number". The adjusment did not seam to work and the bed stayed very firm. The main dissapoinment was the lobby. In fact the lobby in under renovation / construction and there was no lobby.
“Great location, Comfortable Rooms”
The Radisson was currently undergoing lots of construction on the main floor/lobby, etc., and my rating on the condition/maintenance of the hotel reflects that - understand that renovations are necessary and good for the traveller, however, my complaint is that the hotel should advise prospective guests of the state of the hotel, provide clear and simple directions of how to get around (there were virtually no signs to help guests), and do everything they can to make up for the inconveniences . . . not much in that area. Other than that we enjoyed walking from the hotel to Boston Commons, Public Gardens, Beacon Hill, Cheers Bar, Fanueil Hall, Quincy Market and the closeby stop for the Old Towne Trolley - great access to theaters for shows as well! Nice hotel and reasonable rates.
“Very nice hotel at a good price for downtown Boston!”
We were very impressed with the room and accomodations. Sleep number beds, remodeled, new rooms. The indoor pool was warm and clean. The restaurant had a great breakfast buffet. They were doing construction on the outside of the lobby which was a little inconvenient and very noisy outside while waiting for our car in the morning. When the const is complete, this hotel will be exceptional. Valet parking was convenient, and the hotel price from Expedia was reasonable for downtown Boston. It was just a few blocks from Downtown Crossing and easily accessable to a few metro stops. I will definately stay here again next time we visit Boston.
“loved the hotel clean comfotable and staff was extremley nice”
the hotel was Very Nice! found no problems at all. convienent location walked everywhere. restaurant in hotel was very good staff was very heplful and polite.
“Bed was horribly uncomfortable.”
Ad said we would have sleep number beds. Totally untrue. Instead the beds were uneven and hard as brick. No HD TV. Would not recommend at all, Pricey for very few real amenities.
“aweful beds”
The people working at this hotel were very nice, but the beds were horrible. They're the type that you can adjust by pumping air into it. The problem is that each bed was a "double" and split in the middle with each half with its own controler. It was impossible to match them up plus the remote moved the levels uncontrollably (plus oine just kept deflating). Secondly, the toilets flush like a turbo jet which is was miserable because all you hear are flushes all day long. Lastly, there is some construction going on so there is no lounge.
“Wait until construction is over.”
Great location and I'm sure it will be nice when the work is over but while the construction is on I would not recommend it. Wish Expedia had mentioned this when I was booking my stay.
“Very nice Hotel”
The staff was fantastic. From the doorman to the front desk personnell to the function bartender who was happy to assist me in locating the business center. Everyone had a smile on their face and made us feel very at home. Many times a room is a room and a bed is a bed. The staff here put this hotel over the top. This would be my first choice when returning to Boston. Thank you for making our stay at your hotel so wonderful!
“Not sure”
The room was very nice. Location Great ! but the bed was so uncomfortable. said there as 24 hour room service, which there wasn't. Had to pay 49.00 for parking should have been free if you were a guest in the hotel. The staff was very nice. Not sure if I would come back or recommend this hotel.
“Highly recommended”
Excellent , great overall, from reception to departure, the employee were cheerful with more than welling to serve. Highly recommended. Only problem is we have to get out of the lobby to reach for breakfast room in cold weather and back.
