Overall very good but a few small issues to fixPosted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfy room, central location
Cons: Vomit smells in 11th floor corridor
Location: Excellent restaurant (Legal Sea Foods) just over the street. Starbucks in City Plaza 2 minutes walk away. Boston Common is less than 5 mins walk.
Check-in was nice with a glass of champagne on arrival. However the process was a little slow as there seemed to be few people on duty and they were quite chatty with guests in front of us - felt a bit ignored. Clean and comfy room with a good balcony and view. Pool was nice and pool room was warm although there were no proper changing rooms - just an individual M and F toilet near the pool. Staff were very friendly overall. 11th floor corridor smelt of vomit (and according to previous reviews seems to have done so since 2012)!

Not what I was expecting....Posted Apr 9, 2014
I was looking for a nice modern room with a good view, for the money that I was spending, but unfortunately that was not the case. The room/hotel is not bad, but I definitely did not get the value for my money. Please note, I travel all over the world and have stayed in various rated hotels and therefore have a great perspective on value for money.

Great Location but bring your own pillowPosted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: The location is supper convenient. The bed linens appear 100 percent cotton.
Cons: See above
Location: Theater district is not far nor is Back Bay.
The hotel looks recently remodeled - a bit sterile if fashionable. The room was ample but the bed really hard - we didn't realize it was adjustable resulting in two very uncomfortable nights. The pillow menu was encouraging but the feather pillows were so lofty and tightly packed as to render them unusable by us. The hypoallergenic offering was unyielding. Our room was next to the elevator - the swoosh of the machinery required a conscious effort to ignore the sound. The staff were all welcoming and helpful - would have been better if we'd been briefed on the bed.

Close to DowntownPosted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Its central location to most everything in downtown Boston.
Location: Boston Common is just a block away. The Boston Opera House is about 2 blocks away. Too much to list!
We stayed at the Revere Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and polite and quickly took care of everything we needed or had questions about. We got some good recommendations about local site, restaurants and how to get around. The decor and the rooms were modern and upscale. Everything was as it should be at a first class hotel.

Great stayPosted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Decor and very clean
Cons: Fresh milk for coffee and a few pieces of fruit on arrival in room.
Location: Walking distance to Boston Common and Chinatown subway station
After a week cramped into a tiny room in New York, checking into this hotel was paradise. Great location and large rooms with modern and super clean decor.Very helpful and friendly staff. Loved every minute of it. Close to Boston Common and ChinaTown subway station.

NicePosted Mar 30, 2014
Hotel was nice and the rooms were clean and comfy both for us and our dog! We had to leave very early in the morning to make an appointment and it was a bit of a drag that we called the valet service 5 minutes before we left the room and we still needed to wait about 15 minutes for our car. All in all, a nice choice!!

Dear Adrienne, Thank you for staying at the Revere Hotel Boston Common. I am glad you enjoyed our guestrooms and that your dog was very comfortable as well! We do recommend to give valet at least 10 minutes notice to retrieve your car since they can become unexpectedly busy with assisting other guests. We hope to see you again soon.

AMAZING HOTELPosted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: The location was quite good. It was a short walk to Boston Common, Boylston Street and Newbury Street. It closest T station was only 2 mins walk away!
Cons: On check-in they didn't tell me they take $100 deposit off of your credit card to cover charges like room service.
Everything about this hotel was pretty much fantastic. After arriving from London on a long flight we checked-in and were given complimentary glasses of champagne. The decor in the lobby was modern and quirky and all the staff greeted us whenever we walked through it. The elevator swiftly took us up to our beautiful standard-double bedroom. It was large with a small balcony overlooking Boston's skyline. It was clean with modern decor - it even had some cool Shakespearean posters on the wall which I appreciated as a lover of literature! The bathroom was also big and clean. Again very modern. The shower could have done with a bit more pressure but the water was always hot and it got the job done! The beds were large and the mattresses were firm but comfortable. The flat-screen TV was great and offered a selection of pay-per-view movies. In the wardrobe was an iron/board, a robe and some slippers. In the bathroom the hotel provided some great shampoo/conditioner/wash/body lotion in HUGE bottles - not the typical small ones you see in most hotels. You also got cotton buds, cotton wool, toothpaste etc. It was all very luxurious!

Dear Amber, Thank you for staying at the Revere Hotel Boston Common. I am glad to hear how much you enjoyed our modern decor. Our designers carefully chose shower heads that would reduce water pressure in our efforts to be a green hotel, which is also why we use large dispensers for our Skoah bathroom products as opposed to small wasteful plastic bottles. We look forward to your return!

Good city centre hotelPosted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, clean modern furnishings, spotless. Great location for tourism (close to Boston Common, Trolley Bus Tours), shopping, near T stop
Cons: Nothing - positive enjoyable experience staying in this hotel. To be recommended!
Location: Central location. Short walk to Boston Common. Close to T + Trolley Bus Tours. In city centre close to excellent shopping, good bars + restaurants
Friendly welcome on arrival, offered glass of champagne at check-in. Spacious modern reception area with sculptures and modern art. Plenty lifts and corridors were clean. Comfortable, well decorated room, with plenty of storage, chaise longue, balcony with great views over Boston. Large comfortable bed, with good bed linens and furry bed cover. Well equipped with free wifi, large desk, good lighting, plenty power sockets Clean bathroom with great toiletries (in large dispensers rather than travel size bottles), with choice of 2 ranges of shampoos, conditioners and body lotions. Enjoyable relaxing stay in this hotel.
