Not as advertised

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Bed was comfortable and the air worked.
Cons: Shower, and shuttle service
Location: Not a good location. Not close to anything
The rooms, although remodeled, still appeared old and outdated. No bathtub and the shower was old and stained. Shuttle to the subway was not at all reliable. My wife and I, both in our 50s, ended up walking the 1.3 miles back to the hotel from the subway each of the four days we stayed. Everytime we called for the shuttle, we were told it would be an hour wait! Not fun in 90 degree weather in 85 humidity!

Very nice!

Pros: Very comfortable and nicely decorated.
The hotel is about 6km from the airport. A very friendly clerk checked me in and when I said I had flown to Boston he asked why I didn't arrange transport through them! I had rented a car do didn't need to but thought the reminder was nice. The hotel is just off the road but in a residential area. When I entered my room I was very pleased. It was nicely decorated, spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Even exercised in the room in the morning.

Close to airport.

Cons: Lamps that have plug ins in them. A light that lights the closet area. The AC unit need a fan mode. I needed the noise to sleep.
Location: Great Italian Restrurant nearby. It's called Sebastian's .
The hotel was ok. It was near the airport which made it easy for me to drive to. The staff was friendly. They had a shuttle that would take you to local places.

The hotel is reasonably close to the airport and they offer shuttles to pick up or drop off. The room was OK but the hotel is right next to a major road, so there's significant traffic noise. It seemed expensive for the room and atmosphere, but I guess the other area hotels are even more expensive.

Would not recommend

Pros: Clean, airport shuttle.
Cons: Facility, parking
Location: Further away from Logan than most others. No nearby support facilities such as caf├ęs or restaurants.
Small property located in residential neighborhood. Dated facility that could use sprucing up. Basic amenities but clean. Inadequate parking so if you arrive late, you're on the street.

Two Thumbs Up for This Bargain!

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: As stated above, pretty nearly everything.
Cons: Not much. The location may not be ideal, as walking to restaurants might be problematic, but as noted above, the staff will drive you.
Location: As already noted, there doesn't seem much in the immediate neighborhood in the way of entertainment potential.
My wife and I chose the Rodeway Inn near Logan mainly for the price. It offered a free airport shuttle and we were only overnighting on return from a trip to the UK mainly just looking to catch up on sleep. What a pleasant surprise to find the staff so cheerful, helpful, and generally responsive. Had we wanted, they'd have shuttled us to and from nearby restaurants. Our room was large, well-appointed, clean and, most welcome, equipped with a super-sized, firmly mattressed bed. Our brief stay simply couldn't have been better. And it cost far less than other area motels.

Wish we could have stayed 2 nights.

Cons: More tv channels. I would have liked a bathtub but could just shower. They may have some rooms with them.
Location: Had a 5 block radius walk around & got a feel for the cultural vibe of Revere. There is a majestic Catholic Cathedral close by to tour.
Convenient shuttle for airport, beach, etc., and will also take you to a breakfast location. We were at the back of the Hotel where there is a quiet street. Good coffee at front desk and rooms. The windows opened and the drapes were dark. Carpet and wallpaper good quality and king bed was comfortable. Its bathrooms have been upgraded. Fridge. Housekeeping were not bothering us early.
