“Good choice and conventient location”

The hotel is cheaper than city center ones while being conventiently located at walking distance from railway station. Rooms are clean and confortable. Service is excellent. A beautiful view on the bay is an added value.

Very nice hotel and area. Requires some walking to subway, but taxis always available at hotel. Nice mall across the street with restaurants and early am coffee shops. Can walk riverside all the way to MIT or across the bridge to downtown Boston.

“Sonesta Boston”

The hotel is right on the Cambridge side of the river. I enjoyed strolling by the riverside in the evenings. The room was small, but had a great view which they gave me without asking since I was staying for a week. Staff and concierge were very helpful and I was happy with the shuttle service to Copley Place where I was attending a conference.

We come to Boston regularly for business and pleasure. The Royal Sonesta is perfectly located in Cambridge but an easy walk or short cab ride to Fanueil Hall and the North End; Kendall Square; or the Back Bay. The amenities are very nice, it has a great bar, and running along the Charles each morning can't be beat.

We loved the location and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We could walk to the T, and along the Charles, and took advantage of the free shuttle, boat ride and bikes. They did give us a fridge as well.

“Great home base to see Boston”

Deciding to brave the elements, we visited Boston the week after Christmas. After reading positive reviews online about the Royal Sonesta, we decided to try it. We were not disappointed in any way. The accommodating staff was a pleasure to deal with - helped us rent a car when it was too bitter outside to ride the T, looked up flights for us on our departure day, etc. I truly had no complaints and would recommend the Sonesta to anyone.

I always enjoy staying at this hotel and the Individual traveler room is ideal for my needs. The staff at the hotel are professional and very courteous. The hotel's close proximity to the Cambridge Galleria Mall is always a plus as all you need to do is walk across the street to get there. I also like the short ride to the airport.

This was a great hotel and I highly recommend it. The location was fantastic as it was across the street from the Mall and only a short taxi ride to downtown. The service was good and the people were very friendly (& helpful).
