I go to Boston a couple of times a year for seminars at MIT. Since it's just across the bridge, it's convenient and I love Beacon Hill. It's a very cool place to stay and the weekends are a non-stop party in the lobby. Makes for excellent people watching.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The staff was friendly, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Food was very good. Shout out to UMass football players who were at hotel same weekend. Very respectful bunch of players. Would definitely recommend.

Staff are the best. They are warm, friendly, helpful, quick, and professional. I have stayed in this hotel for three years running for HOCR weekend and never been disappointed. Many of the staff are the same people. This says a lot about the place too.

My husband and I came to Boston to attend parent's weekend at our older daughter's college and to watch our younger daughter row in the Head of the Charles regatta. The Westin was a perfect home base for the weekend -- it felt like a romantic weekend getaway, but we still got to see our kids! Love the late check out policy on Sunday, it allowed us to get to the regatta for the day's events, but not have to rush and leave our bags with the concierge in the morning. I do think it is great when a very efficient hotel that caters to business travelers promotes a more laid back atmosphere on the weekends, which Westin does very well.

I have always loved staying at the Westing Waltham. Both kids went/go to Brandeis, so it is very convenient in terms of location. The renovations are beautiful...tastefully done and serene. The room I had was clean and comfortable...the bed and pillows and comforter were amazing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I LOVE that there is a Starbuck's downstairs (and in the rooms!). Their fitness center is very adequate. Only negatives are that parking is $15 a day and they charge for internet. Having said that, I will continue to stay here whenever I am in the area.
