“Excellent hotel”
We've stayed in quite a few hotels in Boston and this was one of our very best hotel stays. Its location on Boston Common is superb, and the hotel room was clean and spacious. Our baby doesn't nap much but she took wonderful long naps and slept through the night at the hotel, so much better than at home. The hotel is luxurious and the staff were exceptional.
“terrific”
Everything was perfect, friendly staff (except for one female concierge), beautiful interior and exterior, comfort and elegance.
“Best hotel in Boston!”
Our stay at the Taj was great! The service was perfect and the employees were extremely pleasant and helpful. The Bar was great for drinks and light fare. Afternoon tea was a wonderful experience. The Taj was the best hotel we have stayed at in Boston. Great location as well. The Taj was formerly the Ritz-Carlton. The Ritz had been good, but the improvement in service by the Taj staff was quite evident.
“Boston hotel overlooking Boston Common”
The Boston Common facing rooms have views that are as good as the Four Seasons and the rooms are in better condition. The price is less as well. I have stayed at the Ritz on the other side of the Commons and the Four Seasons and I won't be going back. The Taj is as good quality and much better value.
“A well run hotel”
Attractive well furnished hotel, The beds were particularly comfortable, the personel helpful--good concierge.
“Nor'easter Taj”
The room I originally bought had an interior view however upon check-in I received a view of the city. It was very much appreciated. Their bell-hops were also overly courteous, friendly & helpful.
“A luxurious Hotel”
I really liked the room, it was so clean. The hotel is write by Newbury Street and there is a Chanel store connected to the hotel.
“Excellent hotel in the heart of Newberry St,”
If you want personal and warm service in the heart of Boston's best shopping district, I would recommend the Ritz-Carlton Boston on Arlington St. The staff was very attentive. They know your name the moment you walk in. The in room dining menu has superb food. The hotel is traditionally decorated as compared to the newer more contemporary sister hotel in Boston Commons. The bathrooms are a bit old but serves its purpose. The Bar in the lobby is quaint-far from the maddening crowd (if you've been attending a conference or meeting)
“Lovely and elegant”
Great location, old world service and ambience. The bar is a particularly relaxing and elegant setting for a leisurely lunch or a chat with an old friend. The cafe offers suberb service and great food. Walkable to many fine restaurants, great shopping, art galleries and the theater district.
“Exceeded expectations”
We sent my Parents to the Ritz Carlton in Boston for my Father's 70th b-day. I called the Ritz to let them know and they pulled out all the stops! They received so much personal attention my Parents were overwhelmed by how nice, considerate and helpful the staff was. They recieved lots of little extras too!!! The Ritz has a reputation for service and excellence but they really went the extra mile. Thank you Ritz Carlton, Boston!!!!
