We had a wonderful stay there. Room was very comfortable and the staff very helpful and friendly. Will stay there the next time we travel to Boston.

Pros: Bead
Cons: The bathroom, they can redesign
Location: The location is ok. We were to Berklee College of Music
It a beatiful hotel, however it is expensive. They not include the breakfast

Boston Park Plaza Hotel

Pros: Its location and character and the helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Controlling the prices for food and drinks.
Location: Location great, close to all attractions by foot or using the trolley service and public transport.

Old, tiny rooms and expensive!

I was so disappointed when I saw our hotel room. I thought it was going to be somewhat fancy given the pictures, high cost, etc. It was the smallest hotel room I've ever been in. There was hardly any room to move around the bed. The bathroom is also very cramped and had a public restroom toilet! You could hear the toilets flush in the neighboring rooms. Apparently, the hotel itself has a lot of history, which means it's very OLD. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is its central location.

Great Location but Hotel is Old and not Updated

Pros: Location is great, just a block from Common and Newbury street
Cons: Update all rooms, we were told some wings/floors of the Hotel are updated
The room we got was not updated and the AC unit was very weak in a room for 4. We complained and got a discount for a day. It was very disappointing as this is supposed to be a 4 start "Park Plaza"

Nice hotel. Right in the middle of downtown Boston

Great place to stay. Hotel was old but well cared for Other than outside, which was under construction, the interior was very nice. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and the bed was really comfortable. Self parking was a hassle and valet parking expensive but this is to be expected for downtown city area I guess. Buffet breakfast expensive as well. No free in room wifi and only 1 hr free in lobby Overall good experience though. I'd stay here again for sure.

Pros: Location was good for us
Cons: wash the bathroom floor with something that gets up old dirt that is embedded.

nothing special, breakfast nook for someone, did not indicate if it was for guests or purchase

Last minute choice

Limited availability and high prices led me to chose this hotel. No reason to pay luxury for a three star condition. Hotel going thru massive lobby renovations, so fairly chaotic. Rooms need remodeling. Smallest showers I've ever used at around 18 inches wide. Bedroom furniture was ikea quality, a couple falling apart. Hotel staff however was very good. Very well trained and professional.
