“Great hotel experience”

Excellent hotel, excellent location next to Haaaaaaaaarvard. The room has all the goodies that the W hotels have, at 1/2 the price. Motorized window shades, cool snacks like dried fruits, wireless phone, free internet.....................and the coolest TV in the bathroom which projects through the mirror. Tip- best seafood restaurant in Boston is attached to the hotel.

We had a wonderful weekend in Boston and a great stay at The Charles Hotel! The room was very clean and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable! We booked through Expedia. The only problem was that our room was not ready until 3:30 but it was no big deal. We had a cup of clam chowder and a drink at their outdoor Legal Seafoods and by the time we were done our room was ready. All in all it was a GREAT stay!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Well located in Cambridge, good service and very cushy beds. Nice flat screen intertainment center. Rialto Restaurant was excellent - don't be put off by the somewhat snooty maitre'd, who shunts guests to the bar for the obligatory drink. Just say no.

The Charles Hotel is located at walking distance to four important places at Harvard: Harvard Business School Harvard Kennedy School of Government Harvad Law School Harvard Yard. There is a full service gym, with a very nice indoor swimming pool. Three nice Restaurants. Very good hotel. Sergio.

“The Place to Stay Near Harvard Square”

I've stayed here three times over the past ten years, and each time was delightful. The rooms are quiet, have everything you want (including free zippy wifi), and the Rialto (only open for dinner) is excellent. Henrietta's Table is open and airy and has prompt service and good breakfast and lunch menus.
