Good location for Back Bay. Check in was a pleasant experience as was checkout. Door men and Concierge were helpful and friendly. Facilities becoming a little old.

Terrible facility. Lots of maintenance issues. AC and light bulbs. Manager would not help or give refund.

Great hotel at a great locationPosted Nov 7, 2014
Cons: The prices to dine in the restaurant could be lowered a bit.
Location: The T stop is just outside the front door, providing unlimited access to enjoy the city.
The hotel was located at a T stop making travel a breeze. The concierge gave us a wonderful recommendation for breakfast, and we were always greeted as we entered and exited the hotel. The bathrobes are plush and comfy, and the bed was the perfect firmness. I love the fact that the windows in the room opened for some fresh air.

Small hotel with full amenitiesPosted Nov 6, 2014
This was my first trip to Boston & I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff was warm, welcoming, helpful. There was a more personal feel than st larger hotels, yet it provided full services. The adjoining restaurant was very good.

Very nice stayPosted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: Staff. Location. Restaurant good. Clean well finished rooms.
Cons: Obnoxious drunk woman in hallway at 3 a.m. pounding on neighboring door for an hour. Security should have come sooner, don't they have cameras?!
Location: Convenient to lots, cabs readily available.
Room was lovely. Bathroom very nice. Clean. Windows great. Staff terrific. Parking was a good deal. Manager let us park late since we were seeing a show until after the anniversary of your check in/drive in time. Very convenient. Upgrade a few years ago very positive improvement. Nicer than the W on Stuart Street. Have stayed both places many times.

Beware of what you'll find in your room!Posted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: Location is good.
Cons: Cleaniness and overall upkeep of the rooms. Lightbulbs were burned out and not replaced; curtains were not functional.
I checked into my room and was unpacking when I moved the blanket on the bed and found an open condom wrapper. This is unacceptable for any hotel room, but even more so when you are paying the price for a so called luxury hotel. Although, they granted my request to be moved to another room, I thought someone could have followed up on this issue and at least offered a meal voucher. Chocolates on the pillow are ok, but not this!

Fabulous night at The ColonnadePosted Oct 17, 2014
I couldn't fault this hotel in any way. Excellent, attentive staff, room ready even though we arrived early (11am). Location perfect. Highly recommend.

Pros: Great hotel and friendly
Cons: fan in bathroom-gets steamy
Fantastic city. Boston is amazing, great city and great people. Would recommend doing the green and orange trolley service over the other one
