“Weekend Getaway:)”
My fiance and I stayed here 2 nights to catch the Boston Celtics game that Friday for his 30th birthday. The room looks exactly like the pictures....GORGEOUS! The T-station was right next to the hotel which made getting around very easy. We had a problem there the 1st night with the thermostat. It stayed on 72 degrees, and we were burning up. I informed the front desk the next morning, and they said that they would send someone up to look at it, but in the meantime, we could open the windows or they would bring up a fan!!! (VOILA)
“Awesome!”
Staff was super pleasant and very helpful in many ways.
“Another great stay in Boston”
I have travelled alot and this Hotel is my favortie, it never disappoints. I think the wifi was a bit expensive and would have been nice to have it cheaper or free in the room, that is my only complaint. The staff is always so nice and helpful and the porters especially nice. I never even think of other hotels when travelling to Boston.
“nice update”
this hotel has been nicely updated with a terrific location. knowledgable pleasant staff. had a problem with the internet that they fixed immediately
“Excellent hotel in good location.”
Great location. Lovely comfortable room with view, although some of the built-ins in room a little worn. Modern furnishings. Excellent service. Bistro Jo in lobby is a plus.
“Good Experience at the Colonnade”
I spent two nights at the Colonnade. The check in was easy and early(11:00 AM). Front desk staff were very friendly. Room was very clean and had a great view. Good sound proofing as I could not hear much street noise. Bed was comfortable and I had an ipod connection, Keurig coffee maker as well as a flat panel TV. The concierge was helpful getting me to the North End. The bellman was also very friendly and helped me with a cab. Overall the hotel was great.
“A beautiful hotel”
This is a beautiful hotel, and we were lucky to stay there for such a reasonable rate. The staff was extremely gracious and helpful. We had lovely breakfasts in the hotel restaurant. The location is great. I would definitely stay here again.
“Very impressed”
Excellant, stayed there while attending a Patriots game, the staff is always there to help, any directions you need (printed out for you and waiting at the concierage) will call ahead for reservations, they never say no, just what i would expect, centrally located easy and access to anywhere
“Nice stay”
We booked 3 nights in the Colonnade. The city of Boston and the hotel were so nice that we stayed finally 5 nights. Hotel has a very interesting location, with main T (the subway) line just beside. The prudential center is on the other side of the street with all shops and food shops you would need (including The Top of the hub, the nice restaurant on the top of the prudential tower). The room was very nice, the extra large bed very confortable with a lot of pilows, a cute bathroom, and an huge TV.
“Great home base for a vacation in Boston”
Between the great conditions of the room and the amazingly easy access to the Green line just outside the hotel, the Colonnade Hotel is a perfect place for a home base for a vacation in Boston. I would definitely recommend it to others.
