“Very, very nice hotel...”
We had a wonderful stay at the Elliot Hotel in Boston! The hotel staff were particularly helpful and pleasant. No complaints at all, other than that the internet should be included with the room...It's not very gracious when one has to pay extra for something that is otherwise so readily available...however small the charge.
“Great place to stay”
Enjoyed this hotel very much
“Perfect location”
The location of this hotel was terrific, within a mile of everything we wanted to see. The staff was very friendly and helpful upon checkin and when we called to find a good place to eat close by. They do have two restaurants in the hotel that looked great but just not what we were looking to eat. The room was very comfortable and clean. It could have used some touching up with paint as there were a lot of scuffs that were visible but not a bog deal. All in all I would stay here again if in the area looking to do the same things.
“I would stay again”
Cleanliness and service was A+
“Not Impressed”
Wonderfully nice staff...but thats about it. Beds were hard as a rock and rooms are desperately in needs of upgrading. Couches were stained, outlets were loose and the floors were dirty. The restuarant was really dirty and overpriced. Very run down in appearance. Location was superb and like I said, the doormen and front desk staff were very professional and did their jobs flawlessly. I would not go back considering the price and comparable hotels that are in better shape. I really wanted to love this place, but no such luck.
“Absolutely Charming”
We stayed at the Eliot for our anniversary. It was exactly what I hoped it would be: a charming, updated, classy small hotel. Service was superb, location made walking to downtown and to Newbury and Boylston Streets easy. I would go back in a heartbeat!
“Very nice place”
I really liked this place. It's small, in a great location and has a lot of character. The rooms are spacious and well furnished but being the building a little old, they are not spotless. The only flaw anyway is the the AC was very loud.
“Charming gem”
Perfects urban getaway
“A lovely time in Boston”
The Eliot Hotel is my favorite hotel in the greater Boston area. Every single employee was eager to help. I say "eager" to help, because you feel as if you're the only one staying at the hotel. They really take time to make you feel welcome, which is especially remarkable as on this particular stay, every room in the hotel was booked with guests. The rooms are great, clean, and comfortable. A real delight. I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights, and can't think of one thing to complain about.
“Great experience at The Eliot”
The Eliot is a great boutique hotel, in an even better location. Less than half a mile from Fenway Park and walking distance to all the best Boston has to offer! As a local, I would recommend The Eliot to tourists, locals and business travelers alike.
