Weekend trip to Boston

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: The staff were brilliant!
Cons: The coffee, not great....
Location: Shopping and dining everything you could want is no mor than five minute away, the"T" undergound is just along the road so its easy to get around.
Upon arrival at The Eliot, the staff were friendly and polite. The suite we booked was roomy and clean with plenty of seating and storage. The rooms were mostly lit by lamps which during the evenings can be a little too dark! The food in the restraunts was very good but could be considered pricey but not overly so! The location of the hotel is fantastic for shops with the main shopping area only a two minute walk from the hotel, the area itself is very nice and safe. Overall we plan to stay here again and probably bring our children with us for a longer stay.

Hotel was wonderful, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We were upgrades to a suite which was beautiful and very comfortable. Room was very quiet even though we were right across from the elevators. We didn't hear a thing. Great location right near the T, getting around was very easy. Would absolutely stay there again.

Great rate on Expedia!

Posted Jan 17, 2015
Pros: The location to Berklee College of Music is great.
Cons: Our room was a bit cramped, compared to a similar room at the the Lenox.
I liked this hotel well enough, but honestly, I'm a HUGE fan of the Lenox. It was hard not for me to compare. The Eliot is lovely, but I'd choose the Lenox any day. I got a great last night rate for one night that included breakfast. Only problem with that...my idea of "breakfast" and theirs was a little different. Expedia needs to clarify. It was basically some hard boiled eggs and croissants. If you wanted anything more then that, you had to order of the menu and the "free" was not applied in anyway to that. The room was nice, the bed was comfy. In a pinch, I'd stay here again.

Wonderful Boston tradition

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Service & location.
Recently stayed at the Eliot Hotel and it was a very pleasant stay. It is a grand hotel of years gone past, although it is staying up with modern conveniences. Would highly recommend a stay!

Awesome Hotel

This was a fantastic hotel. My wife and I stayed here for two nights and could not fault it. The service from the staff was amazing and they were extremely friendly, taking time to give directions and information on Boston attractions. The hotel while small has everything that we needed. I would stay there again

Great staff, good location 15 min from airport.

Nice historical hotel; reception, doorman and other staff fabulous; large comfy rooms; room clean-up, room service and breakfast downstairs were snail's pace, however, and Uni sashimi restaurant was tasty but super expensive so we probably wouldn't do that again, only cuz we're on a new austerity/retirement budget. Also one bed-light and one of the remotes didn't work. Just being picky; otherwise we loved it and will definitely stay there again.

Back again one week later- great hotel!

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Cons: In a perfect world the bathrooms would be bigger. They are very small.
The hotel is charming, the staff very gracious and helpful, and the Boston location is perfect! This boutique hotel is the best!

Beautiful, old world atmosphere. We requested a view and received an upgrade. Well done!
