“THE Hotel for Your Boston Stay”

I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. The property is conveniently located directly across the street from the train/subway station (which is very easy to use). Architecurally, the hotel is stunning and impressive. Very creative reuse of a prison! There are two excellent restaurants on site, as well as a couple of bars. The lobby is a "scene" and I think they have a big crowd every night. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff superb. I will be back!

The Liberty Hotel is an exceptional hotel. The hotel is beautiful a very strange thing to say about a former prision. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The designers had a lot of fun with the understated prison themes. The door on the bathroom in the room slid like a prison door. Instead of "do not disturb" signs you are in "Solitary". The doorman uniforms have a distinct "prison guard" feel. The views from the hotel are great. Apparently the club at the hotel has become a hot spot in town, we came back from dinner on Saturday night and found a couple of hundred people out front wating to get into the club. The next time we go to Boston we will definately stay at The Liberty Hotel!!!

Night club and bar were really hopping Friday and Saturday night. They hosted a wedding on Sunday and it does make for a really unique atmosphere.

Great hotel with below average service. The doormen chat with one another, but do not open the door unless there appears to be an immediate monetary reward. Concierge recommended an awful restaurant in the North End. Please!! How can you mess that up?? Payola??

Great location to the Commons & Newbury Street! Very hip & trendy bar - great people watching! Rooms were very nice & the staff was great! Ate in the hotel restaurants - Clink - which was good, but very small portions. Highly recommend the hotel!
