Toiletries were not replenished. The place becomes a party hangout at night. Too noisy

In such a short time, rooms are showing age.

Pros: Convenient location for driving and the configuration of the rooms was well thought out. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Fix the electrical outlets and desks. Train cleaning staff to clean better. The valet parking cost is $10 higher than most Boston hotels.
Location: Very little to do around the area. I grew up in the Boston area and knew I needed my car to get around. It's a 10-15 minute walk to Faneuil Hall.
The desk in the room was chipped. Half the electrical outlets did not work and there was a short circuit in the vanity mirror, so we had to keep it unplugged. Surprisingly, one of the electrical outlets in the bathroom did not have a built-in circuit breaker, but the outlet didn't work anyway. There was a knit cover blanket on the bed that had a large hole in it.. The corners of the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Nice enough but not worth the price

Posted May 30, 2015
While the Liberty Hotel is listed as a luxury hotel, I didn't find anything special about the rooms or amenities. In the morning there was complementary coffee located in the lobby but it was on such a small table with no room to set your cup down to add milk, etc. and there ended up being a line of people waiting to get to it. The staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable but other than that, we didn't find it worth the price.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on your recent stay. I am glad to hear that you received friendly service and enjoyed a comfortable night’s sleep. Your convenience is important to us, and I’m disappointed that you had to endure a long wait for your coffee. For your convenience, we do offer in-room coffee makers. I am sorry that you expected more, and hopefully we can deliver the luxurious experience you deserve on a future stay.

Nice and classy hotel very conveniently located on Charles Street. It is only a few minutes walk from Boston Common. The rooms are nice, very clean but the charm of the hotel comes from the fact that it used to be a jail. The staff is very friendly. I would go back.

Very nice hotel

Cons: Breakfast is a bit expensive for what it is.
Location: Very well located, close to Beacon Hill.
Rooms are big, quiet and comfortable. Bathrooms are very big with both a shower and a bathtub. The service is very good. The concierge helped us booking nice restaurants.
