Friendly, helpful, convenient and comfortable

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: Service and location. Price value.
Cons: Fresh coffee available in foyer.
Location: We walked 5 mins to Symphony Hall for a BSO concert. Green and Orange line stations close and also bus to Harvard square. Prudential Center close
While this doesn't pretend to be your top glitzy facility, it is not in any way run down. There is an excellent culture of service at all levels which made it a pleasure to stay there for 5 night overall. Location is very good for the T lines and busses. There is no food service but we got around that easily with a good range of options within a short walk. They maintain a limo service to the airport which charges a very good flat rate. You'll need to ask for a frig to your room if that is needed.

Location was good if you'd like to be near the city but the hotel is old and has no A/C!

Central hotel. Close to many restaurants and amenities. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only concern was condition of room. Not particular clean on arrival. Bathroom not cleaned daily. Dust and cotton remained I'm bathroom until we complained.

Very Old Hotel

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: Room cleanliness
Cons: Bathrooms = might be impossible because of size
Location: Located close to shopping and the "T" as well as the Ducks. Worked out well for our purposes.
The rooms were kept very clean. The best part of our stay in this hotel. The bathrooms were too small probably because of the age of the hotel. Our room was exceptionally small but adequate. The hotel staff for the most part was friendly and accommodating. It was conveniently located for our purposes. Thank you.

Great location, older facility, but met our needs. You don't come to Boston to stay in the hotel!!!! Perfectly located on Green Line and within walking distance to many attractions.

Great location but age is showing

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Room cleanliness
Location: Plenty to do nearby. Shopping, eating, historic buildings, etc.
The location of this hotel was perfect. However, the age of the hotel is starting to really show and the room cleanliness was not the greatest. Felt almost uncomfortable about beds and bathrooms.

Great location, excellent value for Boston.

Ron was extremely helpful, location was fantastic, beds were very comfortable. Bathroom small but met our needs. We went to see Boston, spent very little time in room. For Boston this was a very good value. Hotel extremy accomodating. Our room was ready so they let us check in 3 hours early.
