Other than its close proximity to Fenway Park, nothing good to say about this place.

Ok

Pros: Proximity to T station and price
Cons: AC
Location: Everything. It's close to a T station
It's close to the prudential center and symphony hall and T station. Parking (although) expensive was good to have. AC was very loud Staff polite.

Midtown Hotel

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: It is less than 20 minute walk from Fenway stadium and other Boston attractions.
Cons: Entire hotel is overdue for a complete makeover.
The midtown hotel turned out to be disappointing in a number of ways. Staff were not especially friendly, the wifi signal was weak and intermittent, the room smelled less than fresh. The room carpet had seen better days, the bathroom was tiny and there was vibration in the floor that could be felt in the bed. The vibration interfered with sleep until it finally stopped during the night. We gave up waiting for the elevator. The room price was double what a better room might cost elsewhere in a smaller centre. No restaurant in hotel. No breakfast included. Not recommended.

Great location, hotel is old and not appealing.

Posted Aug 6, 2014
This hotel is very conveniently located in Boston. It is close to the Prudential Center and not far from Fenway Park. However, this hotel is old, dirty and not appealing at all. It appears to have been an old motel that was converted to a hotel. Bathroom was small and nasty. Very few of the vending machines worked. Some (not all) of the staff was rude and not helpful at all. I would not recommend this hotel other than the location. It is definitely not worth the price.

Nice hotel close to Fenway easy access to the T

Posted Aug 2, 2014
We were able to park the car there and leave it until we left the city with no worries. It was a short walk to the T to get on the orange line to get to the Aquarium. Very convient walk to Fenway. The staff was nice and the room was very clean.

Pros: Location is great. The pool is a hidden gem as is the parking. Hotel staff is very flexible and I was able to keep my car there the entire day.
Cons: Hotel needs to be overhauled (beds, rugs, carpets, rooms, etc.) but for the price it gets the job done
Staff was friendly, parking was convenient, pool was better then expected, and the location was great and I could walk to any attraction.

Good value for location

We would stay here again, although the wifi was a bit unreliable in our room at times. Otherwise it was great for loca to Starbucks, the "T", city sites, and our teen daughter even worked out at the Huntington YMCA (newly remodeled 2 blks away) with free day passes. We never got in pool but it looked great.

Perfect for Fenway

Hotel less than a mile to the park, easy walking distance. Rooms were clean, hotel staff extremely courteous. Only gripe would be a very small bathroom for 5 large men...but the hotel seems to have been built during the Truman Administration (not a knock at all!), and during a time when people were generally smaller. The water out of the shower head, for those that care, was very powerful, and the hot water very hot. Price per night was A-OK. All in all, a good bang for the buck.

Great location/retro vibe

Posted Jul 21, 2014
This place is dated but the location is great and the staff keeps it clean and it runs well. Parking is included in the room rate making it a greater bargain than it initially appears. I love the vibe here...when we bring a group here again to party and see the sox, I will stay here again.
