Great experience

Stayed here for a conference. Extremely convenient location with lots of options for coffee etc on site and many restaurants in walking distance. Staff was phenomenal. Only con was paying so much for internet service-should be included considering three star hotels now give wireless included.

Convenience to the convention center

Posted May 19, 2014
Overall experience was good. But due to the convention center conference handling the larger amount of guests or visitors was not good when it came to eating accomodations. Better anticipation and preparedness would have taken care of the issue.

Pros: Close to the convention center and jacuzzi
Cons: No
Location: Concert and restaurants
Sky way into the Boston Convention Center was so easy to use, staff was wonderful, food was outstanding as was the valet parking! Pricey but well worth it!

Decent stay in Boston.

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Cons: Very disappointed that the hotel did not have free wi-fi as many, many do. Also very disappointed that the rooms did not have queen beds.
Location: Located right next to the Boston Convention Center. Walkable to the fishing piers. We had no problem walking to much in town though it was long.
Hotel staff was pleasant and room was clean. The kids enjoyed the pool. It is on the south side of Boston but we had no problem walking into town though it is a hike. Overnight parking is not cheap however that seems to be a common thing with hotels in Boston. The two big disappointments were no free wi-fi in the rooms and that the room had double beds instead of queen beds.

beautiful hotel....

Posted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: pool and gym easy to get to.....beds are extremely comfortable.....
Cons: maybe a shuttle back and forth over the bridge....when you walk it back and forth 3 times a day..seems like a lot of extra walking....
the hotel is beautiful....the beds are the best....there was one thing that bothered me though....in a hotel like this, there are no free outlets near the beds....any and all are used for lamps, clock radio...ect.....

$220/night??? Should have been more like $120...

Pros: Beds were very comfortable, but 2 queens instead of 2 doubles would have been even better. Shower was great. Pool was clean, but cold.
Cons: Better turnover from guest to guest in regards to cleaning each room, assessing for broken items. Having "family" or quite floors.
Location: Location was great, short cab ride to the aquarium, or even a nice walk to the Boston Children's Museum. Lots to do in walking distance!
The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were wonderfully pleasant. The room quality was not what I expected for the amount we paid. Our rooms curtain was broken, and appeared to have been broken for a while. There was a noticeable layer of dust on the dresser and night stand. The office chair that was in the room was worn through the leather so the insides of the chair were visible. After paying for the room charge, the internet was a lot extra (which we didn't use) but it couldn't be included? Hotel itself was beautiful, location is perfect for me and my family to spend a few days in the city. Having a restaurant in the hotel was convenient, although very over priced for an Irish pub. I do understand that it is a very large facility, but having taking my family with 2 kids, it was not enjoyable to hear people and doors closing at all hours of the night. Maybe consider having quite hours for certain floors that have families, or early flights to avoid the noise all night.
