Convention Center Convenience

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: It's proximity to Boston's Convention Center and Harbor restaurants was perfect!
Cons: I would recommend have more staff on hand to assist with incoming hotel guests on the eve of large conventions and conferences.
Location: It is very close to the T-Line and next door to the Convention Center, so both downtown and the harbor are close by.
Very agreeable staff, impressive decor and very comfortable rooms!

close enough to waterfront to walk to it

Pros: Location
We were able to walk from cruise ship port to hotel to avoid 1 hr taxi lines, able to walk to waterfront and local bars... Excellent staff and concierge services... Room had nice view of Boston skyline and nicely appointed room as well. Would definitely stay here again on next trip to Boston.

Very nice hotel. Stayed here during the 2015 Boston Marathon. One of the best hotel staffs I've experienced. It's a bit out of the way, but still within a ten minute cab ride to most everything in Boston.

Close to many great restaurants and has a pool.

Great staff, very clean rooms, it's a little pricey but its worth it because it is located right near many great restaurants and it is one of the few hotels in Boston with a pool.

Pros: The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere with restaurant and pub on the facility. Nice if you don't want to leave the hotel. Beautiful views of harbor.

Convenience

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Convenience to convention center, dining options, fitness center
Cons: My ongoing pet peeve is with hotels that charge for Wifi in the rooms and only offer it for free in the lobby.
My husband and I stayed at the Westin Waterfront for two nights while I attended a professional conference. The check-in process was smooth and efficient and our overall stay was pleasant and uneventful. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Boston Conference Center and South Boston is an area of the city that is undergoing a dramatic transformation/development.

Nice modern hotel with cool bar. Business center closed at 8pm, few minutes after I got there. Not the best if you need to print stuff to read at night. Bed was not the most comfortable.

Pros: location; proximity to world trade center
At >$420 per night, the hotel was too cheap to provide free internet service in the room. It was available in the lobby, although not consistently good in all areas.
