Pros: Location
Cons: Elevators were unreliable even before the power outage
Location: Superb, central location with plenty to do within blocks
This hotel is in an excellent location. There are some great shops nearby and if you're looking for a terrific lobster roll try Skip Jacks which is right down the block. We were in town for a Red Sox game and we were able to walk to the ballpark. Bar 10 inside the hotel looked like a cool place to grab a drink but there was a party in there Saturday night and it was jammed so we opted for room service. That was reasonable when we wanted something late night after the game and the food was good. Our room was what I expected of a Westin. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. This was my first time staying in Copley Square. The rates for the Westin were comparable to the other hotels in the area. It's pricey but this seems typical for where it is located and honestly not that much more than other hotels I've stayed in while in Boston. The only mark on our visit was a power outage that affected the entire back bay area early Sunday morning. Not that the hotel had any control over it but there was only 1 elevator operating during the outage. We'd had issues getting the elevator earlier in the day too. Thankfully we were only on the 15th floor since we had to walk down the stairs with our bags.

The staff was pleasant and prompt with any requests. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and the next time we are in Boston will book a room here.

We loved this hotel. Great location and service. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing we didn't like were the pillows were too puffy and firm for our taste, but other than that is was great!

Westin is the best!
Posted Jan 3, 2013
Pros: Comfortable beds.
Cons: No free wifi in the rooms.
Location: Being close to Copley Square is always a plus in Boston. There's always something lively happening there. A great neighbourhood.
Westin consistently have the MOST comfortable beds ever!! Staff are always friendly, professional and above all helpful. Valet parking is terrific service. The movie/entertainment package is also very up-to-date and superior to other hotels I have stayed in. However I do wish they would provide free wifi in the rooms. Overall, Westin is the best.

Hotel with great location.

Pros: Location
Cons: More attentive parking staff. Turndown service at night should be offered.
Location: Right in the heart of Boston.
Rooms were clean, but nothing fancy. Cannot beat the location attached to Copley place; a short walk to the T. Parking staff were not very responsive.

Nice hotel.

Pros: Location
Cons: Lines for service desks
Location: Terrific for the Copley Square area
Very nice hotel in an area of Boston crawling with hotels. Nice rooms, great location, reasonable service. Only problem was that you had to wait for desk service...only four slots to serve all rooms of this really big hotel, and there were only two people working those desks at some of its busiest times. There's nothing worse than arriving at a hotel and having to wait in a very long line to check into the damned place. No excuse. Hire/train more people to do this job.
