“Quirky Jem in the Heart of Cambridge”

After insisting on 5 stars for quite sometime, I'm ruined and will never be able to stay anywhere else in Boston! What a place - like a hostel, but for higher end adventurers. Robert and David are meticulous hosts - offering rides, directions and alot of laughs to guests. After remodeling their beautiful Cambridge home, they opened it as a Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are modern, bright and very well appointed - flat screen TV's and a movie collection to rival all. The common kitchen allows for nice interaction between the hosts and the few other guests (there are only 3 rooms here) and if you're up early enough, a friendly spread of fruits, yogurt, pastries, etc. await you. I stocked the fridge with Champagne and had a lovely morning with fellow guests - one of whom cooked breakfast for us all. Centrally located in Central Square, Cambridge, but off the main roads in a residential neighborhood, if you want to feel like a local who is living well, then this is your spot.

“Whitman House”

A pleasant little B&B in a beautifully restored home near Cambridge's Central Square. Off street parking is a blessing in most of Cambridge and this quiet, well kept neighborhood is no exception. The host, while both gracious and non-intruding, is an good source for local info.
