I could open the windows for ventilation!
Not having any signal for Verizon or AT&T was a both a blessing and a nuisance!
Toast or bagels would be a welcome addition since this has good coffee only

Thank you for your review! Unfortunately the phone service is a well known issue in Beverly and has to do with the city, not our property. We hope to provide breakfast in the future, as this moment we have market with breakfast sandwiches, pop-tarts and granola bars

Thank you for your review! We apologize that our property was not up to your expectations. We do have amenities here on site, including a fitness center, Cafe open Friday and Saturday nights and a market fully stocked with breakfast sandwiches, pop-tarts, chips, chicken sandwiches, pizza, ice-cream, candy and more.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. There were two things I really liked. The first was that there is a quiet time between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am. We've all stayed in hotels where there is a loud party going on in the room next door. The second was the ability to cast from your personal device to the TV, so you have access to every streaming service you pay for.. a very nice feature. I would definitely stay again.

No microwave in rooms, no breakfasts available only some microvaveable choices for sale. Cafe near lobby would not let us use the tables to eat food from the hotel, Even tho they were not serving food. Room was not big enough to comfortably eat in.

Yeah, this is a tricky one, and you are right. However, state health rules/regulations prohibit us from allowing outside food to public areas. If a surprised visit occurred and they found this to be the case we could be fined. So I do apologize for not allowing you to use the space in the café. Thank you for staying with us.
The location itself was unique. We were only staying as a lay-over sort of night so it was an in-and-out stay for us but it was perfect for what we needed. A little smaller than a typical hotel room, but we got the room on sale for Black Friday so we didn't mind as it served the purpose we needed it to. The room was clean and cozy nonetheless and staff was great for check-in and check-out.
The property is stunning. The rooms are quite dated but very very clean. The beds are very comfortable. We stayed here so we could explore Salem across the bridge. It was just over a ten minute drive to Salem from this hotel. Nice and convenient and a lot cheaper than staying right in Salem. We were very happy with our decision.
Our friend was playing in a band in Salem. We only live an hour away but figured we would make a night of it when we found this hotel. It was very reasonably priced and just a 10minute Uber ride into Salem. The place was clean and quiet. We look forward to staying here again!

Very friendly staff and location in the middle of the North Shore of Boston. Daily housekeeping service (in an era where there is often none). Room heat and A/C are easy to control.
