Nice hotel in the busy part of town!Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: It was clean, the staff friendly & helpful.
Location: It's an active area in the hospital district.
In town to see Fenway Park with my kids & stayed at this hotel. Very nice hotel about 5 or 6 train stops from the ballpark.

Close to many great sitesPosted Jul 11, 2014
Was a different location for us. We are usually near Copley Plaza or theater district. This location was fine. Walked everywhere. Close enough to Charles and Washington St. Room was a little tired, but comfortable enough. View was of parking lot.

Basically, the hotel was roomy with nice amenities. The complimentary water is a great feature. Also, it is not that far from the airport. Although the hotel is convenient to a number of things in Boston, for my purposes, it was not conveniently located. Had to take a cab to the Charles Street restaurants.

Staff could be betterPosted Jul 9, 2014
The hotel itself was fine, and in a nice location. We did not have the friendliest front desk greeting, and the bellhop was busy so after 10-15 minutes of waiting we had to go back down and get our own bags.

I stayed one night and had a $50 off voucher from expedia. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, it was a great location for where I needed to be. I would stay here again.

Valet damaged car rentalPosted Jul 6, 2014
Hotel has great location in Boston, but makes for a small, expensive room. Also, hotel has valet parking only, and they damaged our car rental. To their credit, they admitted that they did it. We're hoping they come through with their promise to cover the damages with the rental company. The car also had a peculiar smokey smell one of the times we were brought the car.

Would not stay there again.Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Beds Shower heads Location
Cons: Always have at least 2 people at front desk during check in time.
Location: Very close to the T and historic Beacon Hill area.
Our room wasn't ready at 3 so we killed an hour & came back at 4, which is official check in time. There was one person at the desk & 10 people in line. Really??? The bathroom door was a slider instead of open & close. It was off it's track & wouldn't slide open - they never came to fix it so we kept it 3/4 closed for 3 days. On a positive note, the beds were very comfy and the shower heads were good.

Great location , but old and drab.Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Location to Mass. General Hospital. They also have great pillows !
Cons: It desperately needs a remodel. Maintenance and repair could be better.
Location: For me, it was the convenience of being close to MGH, since I have a family member there at this time.
This hotel is in a great location, very convenient if you have a family member in one of the surrounding hospitals. However, it is old and drab and in desperate need of a renovation ! It was also in disrepair, with wallpaper pealing off the walls, etc...
