Hotel great location for walking to anything.

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: The staff was exceptional. Very welcoming and always friendly.
Cons: Small rooms, didn't notice a coffee bar area or small refrigerator.
Location: I wouldn't drive in Boston, everyone walks. Great location for visitors seeking to experience to culture of Boston.
Loved the room, clean but next time could check into a bigger room. For Boston, the rate was great. The staff was exceptionally pleasant, warm and welcoming. I had a conference to attend and the hotel I was to stay out was sold out of rooms, good thing because I wouldn't have found Wyndham. Also when I attended the conference, the hotel the conference was located in was so 'cold', meaning not welcoming at all. Too professional ......Had a great experience at Wyndham. Will stay again.

Nice hotel. Pleasant staff.

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Clean and pleasant staff members.
Cons: Would have been better if it were closer to the center of town.
Location: Not much to do in the immediate area, but the center of town was only a 20 minute walk away.
The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The waitstaff in the restaurant was also pleasant. We checked out early but left our bags with the bellhop. He was very helpful.

Lovely, convenient hotel.

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Room was comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the outdoor pool, fitness center, and walking distance to restaurants.
Location: Ate at restaurant "Fin" and another near Faneuil hall. Able to walk to those and enjoyed Au Bon Pain around the corner.
Stayed here as it was close to where our kids lived. Very convenient, walking distance to good restaurants. Nice outdoor pool where I swam and enjoyed being outdoors.

The location was perfect.

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: Larger beds. Hotter shower. Better gym.
Location: Perfect for taking walks into the heart of the city. Loved being near that great Whole Foods.
We had a very nice trip. The beds were a little too small and the shower was not hot enough. I had to purchase a guest pass to another gym to supplement the hotel's fitness facility.

Expensive ($315) for small room with no view.

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Refurbished bathrooms. Larger beds. Little space to move in double bed rooms.
Location: Near to Commons, Beacon Hill, Quincy Market, North End.
For a 4-start hotel, beds = too small. Paying expensive premium for location. Bathrooms not updated to int'l 4-star standards.

Not worth the money

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Great help loading and unloading vehicle.
Cons: They could reduce the price and clean the rooms better.
For the cost it was a very small room. However, it was a nice location. We noticed the glasses in the bathroom were wiped clean and didn't seem washed. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would not stay at the hotel again.

Disappointing....

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: The bellboy and the valets were very helpful.
Cons: Total facelift.
Location: Had to do some exploring to find anything, but there was a Wholefoods that shared the parking lot, that was nice.
Dirty windows, stained tub and toilet, outlets didn't work, crack in sink.. Overall feeling of outdated and dingy.

Room not available

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: Do not oversell rooms and inconvenience guests.
When I arrived at the hotel to check-in, I was told the hotel was out of rooms even though I had a confirmation and had pre-paid my stay. The hotel staff offered me a room in a different hotel that was significantly futher than where I needed to stay for my one day business trip. Luckily, one of my collegues had a double room that was able to accomodate me. The hotel staff offered us a complimentary breakfast the next morning for which I am very appreciative. I travel frequently and have never had a hotel turn me away. I found it very dissapointing that this hotel would over-sell rooms and incovenience a guest the way they did. At the very least, they should have offered me another hotel that was as centrally located as I needed for my stay.
