Convenient great hotel

Posted Jun 29, 2015
I missed my flight out of Logan Airport and needed a hotel. All the nearby hotels were super expensive except this one. Wyndham had a last minute deal which was reasonable and there's a free airport shuttle. Clean, helpful staff, perfect!

My stay was good had a comfortable bed and very quiet. Staff were friendly and courteous. Would stay again. The TV had good channels. The room was nice and cool on a hot summers day,

Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: People skills with all clients.
Location: The hotel is not close to anything. It's fairly quiet for good rest. The shuttle is limited.
Poor greeting by check in clerk. His lack of courtesy set the stage for my stay. Yes, it was 8-9 PM when I arrived and I was tired from a long day of travel. His inability to find the reservation, his reprimand for me using Sr. after my last name and no explanation for requesting my credit card until I confronted him left me in a bitter mood. The room was excellent for I've stayed here before. The room staff provided me with adequate service, making the bed and replenishing towels etc.

Appreciate shuttle service

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Large room, comfy bed. Nice staff
Location: There is a strip mall half block away, there is a Five Guys restaurant here. Hotel has a restaurant also. Hotel is in older neighbor.
Large king room, comfortable bed. We arrived at 11 am and were allowed into our room early. We expected to only store our luggage so were very pleased. We used shuttle four times, they were very timely, didn't wait more than 10 minutes. Staff very very friendly and welcoming. The roads to the hotel are in bad condition so expect a rough van ride.

We had a great time. We used Uber to get back and forth to Boston. Quick easy and reasonable. Would do it again.

OK in Boston

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Close to airport with free shuttle that came quickly. It was quiet, clean with helpful front desk people. One of least expensive hotels near airport.
Cons: Clarify how to go about getting breakfast in morning.
Location: Location ok for airport, but not for tourists in Boston. In industrial area in East Boston. Not much close by to see or do.
I stayed one night after long flight from England and longer trip through Logan. Got in late and tired and room was ready and check in a breeze. Room was fine, nothing special but certainly alright for my purposes. You can get breakfast at hotel. Front desk person very helpful and check was easy

The whole place needs upgrading

Posted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: The staff
Cons: Everything except the staff
Location: Did not care one way or another
The family that ran the hotel was wonderful, curteous and thoughtful. The room was in a very sorry state. I could not even see in the room due to very poor lighting, I suppose that was a good thing because if I could see the true condition of the room I would not have slept. The floors were cracked, the walls had staining ( rust). If it hadn't been for the lateness of my arrival I would have left right then and there. The shuttle service was good. As I said the staff was terrific giving tips on how and where to be when time was at issue. Overall the hotel severely lacked in any aesthetics and did not live up to the name "Wyndham"

Pros: The staff was very courteous and helpful.
Cons: The room clearly had not been updated in about 15 years.
Location: Ugh. That was the worst part.
I selected this hotel based on the brand name and because it is advertised that it is near the airport. I had an early meeting downtown the next day. Unfortunately the cab drove past all the hotels that were much closer to the airport - and downtown - that I should have selected. This is a miss on Expedia's part as well as the hotel.

Not bad for an overpriced east coast city.

Posted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: Plumbing in room was broken-sink wouldn't drain and shower spigot broken. A trip to Home Depot would cheaply solve this. Otherwise room very good.
Location: Getting into Boston was simple and the shuttle drivers were very helpful. Not hard to get into town and shuttles from train stn. and aiwere excellent.
Very good shuttle service between airport and hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Offered good suggestions and directions on how to get around and places to go. Good accomodations in general. Overpriced bar (it is a big city, tho.) Restaurant food fair and expensive.

Hotel vecchio...

Posted Jun 11, 2015
Hotel vecchio cosi come i mobili. Letto king molto grande e comodo. Collegamento con Boston tramite mezzi pubblici non dei più veloci... mentre da/per l'aeroporto è velocissimo.
