"Great Location, Lobby, Workout Facility- Old Rooms"
Location is perfect. Lobby was still a bit under construction but you could tell they were putting the finishing touches on everything and it looked great. The rooms are pretty small and lack a lot of common amenities though like accessible outlets and a mini-fridge. The workout facility is amazing though, probably the best I've ever seen at any hotel I've visited.

"Very modern hotel. Very clean."
Very nicely located to Boston tourist activities. Wonderfully helpful staff. Very clean. My only drawback was that the hotel had a pleasant odor that reminded me of cedar chips. This was pleasant at first but got old after awhile.

"Charming Hotel in Central Location"
The hotel is centrally located with quick access to the subway. The hotel staff are very friendly and the rooms are very well appointed. The presence of the large Supermarket close by really helped with reducing costs of eating every meal at a restaurant. Overall a very good experience.

"5-Star Hotel in the heart of the Back Bay"
This hotel impressed me from A to Z. I have stayed in a number of the nicer hotels in Boston, and picked the Loews this time because it was hundreds cheaper than my "go-to". The valet was quick to pull up my car in the morning and my room service was not only delivered sooner than expected, but the food was superb - and I'm picky with my food. The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern and the staff kind and pleasant. This hotel ranks with the best in Boston and at a highly competitive price. I will absolutely stay here again.

"Weekend away with a rooftop pool"
Picked the hotel ONLY due to the roof top pool. It was great. More hotels should do this. If not for the pool - I would say the value was NOT there.

The staff was wonderful. They were willing to stop whatever they were doing to take us to whatever we wanted in the hotel, if anything they may have been a little too solicitous.

Great location!!! Can walk to the North end, quincy market, the harbor, Chinatown, etc. Close to the airport...$13+tip cab ride. Staff was fine... not exceptional or bad. The doormen were very nice and helpful! Hotel and room were decorated nicely. Our toilet and closet door were broken. We did not stay in the room much so these things did not bother us. We would definitely stay here again for the location.

"Clean and comfortable, and budget-friendly"
Our room at the Midtown Hotel was clean and comfortable. It wasn't fancy, but the room was spacious and the staff were very friendly. The light stopped working in our bathroom during our stay and they sent someone up to fix it right away. The one issue we had was that the walls/doors seem to be very thin, so if someone is making noise in the hallway, you'll probably hear it. All in all, it was a nice, inexpensive hotel for a stay in Boston.

"Very pleasant"
Like most other reviewers I would say this is a very nice and pleasant hotel. What it lacks in luxury it makes up for in friendliness and location. A short walk from LongWharf, many restaurants and pubs and the Faneuil Market. The rooms are average size, they have a small fridge to keep some drinks and snacks. Water pressure could have been better in the shower but plenty of hot water and nice size bathroom. Has tv with cable, personal safe , a stereo reicever with dvd and vhs player attached, and an alarm clock which is about the extent of amenities in the room but the more expensive rooms may have had more. There are no vending machines but there is a cafe that serves coffee and pastries and such. However you are in walking distance of a few all night convenience stores, late night pubs and restaurants. There is also a T line station in front that can take you to many destinations including the airport. We had a very nice stay and I would stay there again. Hope this review helps.

Luxury hotels in the vicinity of Boston’s downtown will place you just a few short steps from some of the city’s best restaurants, theatres, and shops. The Seasons of Boston

The general rule is that there is truly no bad time to visit Boston. After all, the museums and cultural attractions here never slow down. Many people consider summer the best time to come to Boston, when the temperature hovers near 80 degrees, and constant sunshine leads to plenty of activities on and around the Charles River. You'll also face smaller crowds at restaurants, clubs, and shops during the summer, since most students vacate the city in May. Chilly temperatures and routine snowfall during Boston’s winters make heaping bowls of steaming clam chowder essential. Of course, the live performances, museum exhibits, and boutique sales during winter make it a great time to visit. Spring and fall both offer brightness and extremely mild weather.

    How to Travel in Boston

Boston is a city that should definitely be experienced on foot. You’ll love passing crowds of college students in the park alongside gentlemen in business suits. In addition, the city features a fairly comprehensive subway and bus system that will let you travel between landmarks and neighborhoods easily. Many hotels are close to public transit and should be able to help you find your way around. If you want the freedom to cover more miles without worrying about train schedules, grab a car rental and see the city on your own time.

    How to Experience Boston, MA

Beantown is filled with historic buildings, sprawling university campuses, expansive parks, and fabulous restaurants. Get to the heart of the city by walking the famous Freedom Trail. Other things to do in Boston should include stops at the Museum of Fine Arts, Fenway Park, the Boston Children's Museum, the New England Aquarium, and the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum. Put on a comfortable pair of shoes and spend an afternoon or two exploring the narrow cobblestone streetsof Beacon Hill, the shaded paths of Boston Common, and the landmarks of Copley Square. Don’t forget to stop for cannoli in Little Italy in the legendary North End, followed by a detour to Cambridge to visit Harvard University. If you're looking for a romantic way to spend a summer afternoon, visit the pond in Boston Public Garden for a ride on a swan boat. When it’s time to pick up some keepsakes for your friends back home, head to the Faneuil Hall Marketplace or browse the boutiques on Newberry Street.

The huge population of college students and young professionals in Boston generatesa nightlife that is both casual and sophisticated. It’s not unusual to see a crowd gathered to watch an impromptu performance from street singers, dancers, or a magician near the city’s landmarks after nightfall. Check out the bars on or around Lansdowne Street and Kenmore Square…or, if you’re looking for some sophisticated lounges, make your way to the Theatre District and Boylston Street after dark. Of course, you’re certain to find a great spot for a cocktail and some live music if you stick around Faneuil Hall after dark.
