“fabulous price and location”

Lovely hotel, staff were extremely kind and helpful when I had my bag stolen in Marseille - let me use their phone for countless calls and provided tea! Great room and very clean. Only 10 mins walk from the centre of town. Car parking available, which is rare for an Aix hotel! Would definitely stay here again - good price. Pool area looked nice for summer (we were there in November)

“Clean hotel in Aix”

Very clean, spacious room. While it was a 10 minute walk into center of town, area felt safe and you end up walking all over Aix anyway, so didn't really seem to matter. It's also close to a couple of nice patisseries, a grocery store and the road north to Avignon. Couldn't get the wifi to work but there's a computer you can use off the lobby. Staff was quite helpful.

“An Excellent Hotel”

Stayed here for 4 nights and was very pleased with the whole experience.A bright and airy foyer with friendly staff. Rooms large, very clean and tastefully furnished.Tea/coffee making facilities were available which we found useful. Very quiet at night.The hotel is a brisk 10 minute walk from the centre of Aix or you can get the local bus close by.A very enjoyable stay and would use this hotel again.

O.K. base for visiting Aix,but a 10 min walk to centre of town. Also it is a 65 euro taxi fare to Marseille airport, and not 45 as quoted by Hotel.

“Our stay at Best Wetsern Hotel Le Galice”

No service in the bar. We had to look for someone in order to order drinks. This was a normal ritual as others had the same experience. Maid service was barely adequate. The desk people were very good and helpful.

“Breakfast Scam”

This hotel was adequate but room decor was dreadful. It was overpriced and I would recommend it only if a pool is absolutely necessary. In the room the maid leaves a form for what seems like complimentary continental breakfast. It's NOT. Before ordering it the second day I checked at the desk and was told it is free. We were then charged 12 euros each for 2 days. The desk person pointed to a sign no guest would see in the desk area noting the charge and refused to budge except to reduce it when I said we didn't get 2 coffees on day 2.
