“Hotel near Marseille Airport”

Having read other reviews we knew this was a "bare bones" type of hotel, but it exceeded our expectations upon arrival. It had a congenial & welcoming feeling even if a little spartan. Oliver, the manager on duty at our arrival time, was courteous, helpful and accomodating. It would have been nice if the room was air conditioned, that was something we definitely missed. Also, although we had been warned about needing a code to get into the parking lot at night after hours, I didn't realize we needed it to leave also. For our early morning departure, we had to park the car in front of the gate, get out, go out through pedestrian gate, punch in the code on the street side, and then come through the pedestrian gate again, jump in the car and drive out while the gate remained open. Seems a little silly that they don't have pressure plates in the interior parking lot. I appreciate the security to get in, but it makes it complicated to get out! All in all though, happy with the cleanliness, the staff, the layout of the room, and the close proximty to Marseille airport. A clear winner for the affordable price.

“DISASTER”

the worst ever experience. First and foremost, it is NOT near the airport. In addition, This is not a hotel at all but short term rentals -- thus no front desk and no way to get in except between 9-5 M-F. Sunday night at 6pm you are out of luck and have to call HQ for the company to get codes to get in and to get the key. Once inside it was dirty and the lights didn't work. There is no way to get back to the airport if you have an early flight. So basically we left just after getting in because the place was such a dump and we would have had to walk 3 miles along highway at 4:30 am to get back to the airport in time for our plane. DON"T GO.
