Exceptioal

This hotel is a gem! The town is delightful small town feel. Very friendly staff and community. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing stay after the noise and action of Vegas. Highly recommend!

History plus comfort

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Our trip to Hoover Dam was enhanced greatly by our stay at the Boulder City Hotel. The price includes a trip through the museum housed on the lower level which was excellent. The full breakfast included in the price was hot and filled us up for our day at the dam. Boulder City had lots to offer during our stay also.

Nice hotel in a nice town. Passing through the area on a motorcycle, I wanted to avoid Las Vegas. Success! There is a good hoover dam museum and complimentary breakfast. Good choice.

Quiet and elegant hotel at motel price

Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: It is peaceful and elegant in quiet surroundings. It is well maintained with comfortable public area/lobby. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
Cons: Coffee maker in room and guest laundry - but there is a good Laundramat a short drive away.
Location: Las Vegas 30 minutes; Hoover dam about 15. There is free music on the main street on Saturday evenings and also in the micro brewery opposite hotel
Fourth time we have stayed here. Quiet and restful - hotel and city. no coffee maker, fridge or microwave in room, but free coffee available in business centre. A full breakfast is included; good range of choices and can be supplemented at reasonable price.

Authentic American Experience

Posted May 26, 2014
Terrific value, full cooked breakfast included in very reasonable cost. Service helpful and friendly. Staying in Boulder City is closer to "real" USA than being in the Parks or Vegas. Hotel easy to find, parking no problem, micro-brewery and main street nearby. Room fairly small but clean and comfortable. Wi-fi free and available in rooms.

Elegant hotel, with full breakfast, in quiet town.

Posted May 24, 2014
Pros: Peaceful, well run and maintained.
Cons: Addition of a guest laundry. This is a lovely small hotel with motel rates; difficult to improve on it.
Location: The Hoover dam is nearby and the hotel houses a museum on its construction. The town has plenty of restaurants and a micro brewery.
.We have stayed here 4 times now; it is a quiet town with no gambling or prostitution. There is street entertainment on Saturday evening, which is well run and all the music finishes at 11:00pm. We have never been troubled by excessive noise or rowdyness. The hotel does not have a guest laundry, but there is a Laundramat a mile or so away so it is a minor problem. It is probably our favourite place to stay while in the USA - both the city and hotel. Las Vegas is about half an hour away and there are two casinos nearby - outside Boulder City limits

Charming place with fascinating connection to the Hoover (Boulder) Dam. Skip the big box hotels and stay here for fun and character.
