We aren't gamblers, but the hotel was nice, good price, and close to the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. The staff was very friendly.

This is our second stay here and I remember why I loved it. The people at the desk, in the restaurants, and in the casino acted as if they knew me. They were extremely welcoming and friendly. The service was impeccable. The restaurant had affordable and very good food. We will return.

I know there was gambling but the smell of stale smoke hit me like a wall when we walked in. This is a gambling state and I just had to deal with it.

In our 5 days of staying, our room was never cleaned. Housekeeping would leave the used and damp towels in the room. Beds were never made, and no vacuuming was done. Toilet paper was missing and we had to go to the front desk to get to get toilet paper and basic things such as tissues, and water. On top of that, the pool was closed for unknown reasons. When we went and looked at the pool ourselves, it looked perfectly normal. However, we loved the location, view and the staff were respectful and understanding of our concerns.

Thank you for your feedback. We normally do not do daily housekeeping, unless requested by the guest. The pool is closed due to a maintenance issue. I am sorry this wasn't made clear at check in. We will be using your feedback to help make future stays more enjoyable.

I enjoyed a meal at their restaurant. Bed was comfortable but pillows were much too fat. I couldn't use a single one and finally folded one of their lovely white towels under my head.

Free parking, very close to Hoover Dam if visiting. Hotel rooms are a bit dated but very big, comfy beds, quiet but the pool was not open.

My husband and I stayed here in March 2024, because he was bowling in the National tournament and we didn’t want all the glitz and tons of people that we’d get if we stayed in Vegas. Our room was beautiful, with the view of Lake Mead that we had requested. The surrounding desert terrain was also beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food at the Bighorn Cafe and the General Store was awesome. The hotel itself, although old, was very well maintained. While we were there, we learned that visiting dignitaries involved with the building of Hoover Dam used to stay there. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

No kettle in the room. The heating was so loud that we were woken up by at night when it turned on automatically as it got cold. No bed making or cleaning. We had to ask for new towels, shampoo and conditioner on our last day. Smoking should be prohibited inside the whole building.

While a bit dated we had a great time!! Different casino themes made us feel like we were in the 70’s . Loved that!! BUT, the pool and hot tub were closed and we did not know that as when I booked they were open…. Not cool!!

If you want to do more than gamble and drink, this is a good option. It’s close to Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, kayaking, boating and hiking trails. The dining options in the hotel are limited though the Bighorn Cafe makes a good breakfast. There are more dining options in nearby Boulder City, which is way more laid back than Vegas. The hotel does show its age but the staff is great and more than makes up for the hotel’s wrinkles.

Lobby, casino, main floor very clean and presentable, with really good staff/employee's. Every contact with a person was friendly and personable. The rate for our room was fair for the condition of the room (do not have high expectations, the rooms are showing wear and age). We were visiting family in the area, so was there for several days, do not expect rooms to be serviced during your stay, and you do need to ask for towels. Over all for the value, it works.

So do they keep the rooms uninviting so that people won't want to stay inside and go gamble? Cause that's how we felt. Luckily we were only staying one night. The furniture looked like it was from the 70's, except for the TV that didn't have anything hiding the cords along the wall going to the outlet except for cheap plastic covers. Oh and be very careful when turning on the switch for the a/c, you will get shocked. Guess there's exposed wiring or something. The bathroom floor has stains in front of the toilet, the shower floor is cracked, and there's a floodlight outside that shines through the curtain. The front desk is no help, we asked one woman a couple of basic questions and she didn't know the answer to most of them. There was an employee in the morning waiting in line for coffee and was making rude comments to other employees about how they're trying to get to work but can't cause my family was taking too long. I don't think we were and there was plenty of room for them to make their coffee along side us if he was that rushed. No wonder this place is empty and I barely saw anyone else staying there or gambling. Don't stay here cause it's close to the Hoover Dam, go the extra 10 minutes into Boulder City

Clean and quiet. Wifi is slow and rooms are a bit dated. Restaurant did not have enough staff so waited a very long time for food. Servers were working hard. Pool is closed until April.
