“Well worth the price for a great location”

Wish I'd stayed longer at this hotel...super convenient to historic downtown Boulder. Pool area was very nice, well maintained. Room was great, quiet, wonderful shower and nice bath products. Very comfortable. Definitely the best hotel choice of my recent 10 day trip.

“Looking forward to another visit”

This is the second time my wife and I stayed here. We found the continental breakfast MORE than acceptable for just us two and/or families. There was a problem with the A/C when we checked in and was promptly given a new room upgrade PLUS a very sincere apology. The free WIFI was great also. The location is across the street from a large mall. The motel is quiet and cleaning staff friendly and efficient and the pool is large and comfortable. Will return and look forward to the visit.

Furnishings were a bit old-fashioned but everything was spotless. The room smelled a bit of air freshener but it went away. Air conditioning was great. Staff were uniformly helpful, friendly and competent. The only downside is that they plan to tear it down and build a modern multi-use monstrosity. It will make someone rich and Boulder will lose an historical gem

Everyone at the Golden Buff was willing to help us out with anything we needed. The room was clean. It was in an area that we could walk to restaurants and stores. We were there on business and would stay there again if I return to the area. The Buff restaurant was just as good and friendly.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The room had 2 queen size beds, table and 2 chairs with plenty of room for myself and two daughters. The hotel reception personnel were very friendly and helpful. It was very clean. The continental breakfast had everything you could ask for. It is located by tons of shopping and restaurants. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Boulder.

“Perfect location and price.”

I enjoyed my visit to Boulder (who wouldn't) especially because of where I stayed. The Golden Buff Lodge was close to the big mall and many resturants that I could walk to. The lobby is smallish, has a fireplace and 24 hour coffee and hot chocolate. The staff were so pleasant and were able to help with recommendations about resturants and other things going on in town. The room was very comfortable and the resturant attached to the hotel has a terriffic breakfast. We first saw the resturant featured on the travel channel and it lived up to its promise. A hometown favorite.

The room was very clean and comfortable, especially for the price. The location of the hotel was also extremely convenient, being within walking distance to pearl street mall, multiple restaurants, and the college. The a/c was cold, and the shower was hot. the shower head was also above my head (its a big deal for me because im over 6 feet tall and even my home shower only comes to eye level). This hotel was simple, but extremely comfortable and welcoming, i'd recommend it to anyone.
