Reasonably priced, which is hard to come by in Boulder. Adjacent to the CU campus with nice Flatiron views.

Football game weekend.

Pros: Location, price
Cons: microwave in the room
Location: Walk to the football stadium, short drive to Blackhawk and Estes Park, which are a must visit.
Great friendly staff who went out of their way to answer questions and make us feel welcome.

Training Day

Posted Sep 16, 2014
I suppose for the rate, I shouldn't have expected more. The "continental" breakfast was an adventure. It was so dark, I couldn't tell what was being offered. . If the re was staff on hand they stayed well hidden. I took an orange as it was all i could recognize and was apprehensive about the other items offered. I think vi expected more from healthy Boulder!

One Night in Boulder for a concert

Pros: LOCATION is Good and Staff is nice.
Cons: Maintenance and replace mattresses and sheets that fit the bed.
Location: Great for things near the University of Colorado campus
I really enjoyed the staff they were friendly and helpful. My experience at first was disappointment that the toilet flush handle was a cheap one about to break and the only way I could really flush was to lift up the tank and pull the chain. This is something I would live with and tell the staff when I left cause its a maintenance issue. Than when I sat on the Bed and check the other one out I could tell that these were very OLD and WEAK mattresses that should have been replaced years ago. My mattresses at home last me 15 to 20 years so these must of been much older. Than when I pulled the covers back both beds had sheets that were for much smaller beds now this should have been and obvious by the house keeping staff. I don't know why they can charged this much for a hotel that has not been updated and has sheets that don't fit there is no good excuse for that and sorry I stay there but would not recommend for anyone else. I have stayed in many hotels around the world traveling to several countries and never encounter a bed problem like this one.

Very old run down rooms that smell like mildew.

Posted Aug 25, 2014
The hotel was very run down and 1970ish. Our room smelled like mildew and was very old and tattered. Half of the lights in our room did not even work. There was no water or snacks in the vending machines and when asked we were told they only deliver once a week (we stayed through a weekend). The free breakfast was not really enough...waffles and cereal with some mini bagels and muffins. At least it was free.

Nice "Green" independent hotel

Posted Aug 23, 2014
My room was clean and up to date. The hotel staff was very helpful and I like that it is an indepedent hotel not a chain. For breakfast every morning, they had a waffle maker to make your own waffles. They also offered fresh fruit, bagels, english muffins and a variety of cold cereals. They also had locally roasted coffee. Overall an excellent experience. Not your typical hotel.

Convenient location and friendly staff

Pros: Price
Cons: Getting the rooms ready on time.
Location: Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance.
For the price, I thought this hotel was great. The only problem was that we arrived early along with many other family members for a wedding the next day. They were able to get most of my family in their rooms well before 3:00, but my room wasn't ready until 3:30 (it was supposed to be ready by 3:00) and my mom's room still wasn't ready at 3:30 so she wasn't happy about that. But overall it was a good experience. It was nice to have free parking, free wifi, and free breakfast.
