Cozy rooms and friendly staff.Posted Feb 2, 2014
Though we only stayed one night, we enjoyed the top-notch amenities and hospitality offered by the Briar Rose, including the homemade shortbread cookies, the wide variety of soothing teas, delicious homemade granola, meditation room, and a welcoming staff of friendly young women. We also loved the skylights and wood fireplace in our room. Location is great, too—a short walk to the scenic university campus and Pearl Street bars, restaurants, and shops.

Charming, Meditative B&B Close to Pearl StreetPosted May 20, 2010
The Briar Rose was a delightful B&B in a great location in Boulder - a short walk to Pearl Street and not far from 29th St Mall. This historic home was warm and welcoming, with lovely gardens. It definitely oozes the alternative charms of Boulder culture with organic, homemade, health food for breakfast. Soak up the peaceful, meditative environment where yogis float in and out. I wouldn't be surprised if we had awoken to chanting. I was appreciative of the delicious cookies and baked goods left for guests in the dining room, for when we arrived late at night.

Couldn't be betterPosted Dec 20, 2008 on Hotels.com
The Briar Rose is everything you'd expect from a high end B&B--plus a few extras. The service is great, the food (all organic) is great, the atmosphere is great. They have a tea selection that puts most cafes to shame. I can't wait to go back for another stay!
