Quite Bed and Breakfast with beautiful courtyard

Posted May 16, 2015
Pros: The staff were very helpful.
Location: Nearby you have access to most of what Boulder has to offer. Coffee and Tea are provided, but a quick trip to the mountains baseline is always sure.
The Briar Rose B and B is a wonderful retreat. With attentive and nice staff, free breakfast, and parking options you can't go wrong.

What a wonderful gem!

Wonderful hospitality and accommodations. Our flight was very late in arriving and the staff/owners were very helpful in making sure that we could get in (at 1:30 am). There were even homemade shortbread cookies for us to snack on. The room was spotless, charming and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all fresh and made to order. The yogurt, fresh raspberry compote and homemade granola were the best I've ever tasted. The staff put together a beautiful tray of food, tea, fresh orange juice for us so that we could eat in our room (we were exhausted after our travels). I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Boulder!

Adorable hotel, but a little unclean

Posted Feb 9, 2015 on Hotels
It was adorable and outside of finding a toenail under our sheets on our bed, we loved it. Our room had a fireplace all set up for us and it added a nice touch to the room. Breakfast service was a little slow for my liking, but it was delicious.

Authentic bed and breakfast experience

Posted May 10, 2014 on Hotels
My boyfriend and I planned a four day trip to colorado and our first stop was boulder. We decided to try a bed and breakfast since neither of us had stayed in one before and it felt like a blast in the past. They greeted us with tea and homemade, organic goodies. The common area is adorable with a dining room table and book case; it's like staying at your grandmas house, very cozy and inviting. We stsyed in the tea kettle room and receive tea in bed. The toiletries are all organic. The only qualm we had was that the Heating in our room is connected to the rest of the house so it was extremely warm all night. The breakfast in the morning was around the dining room table with other guests and was a delicious omelette and tea. I would say this bed and breakfast was slightly overpriced for the experience; we paid 180 for one night. If you can get a good deal, I definitely recommend staying, it's very quaint and adds to the boulder experience.
