Very nice for the price

I stayed for just one night but the staff was very friendly and the room was nice, clean and decorated beautifully. My boyfriend and I weren't disturbed by other guests either. The location isn't that close to downtown, but it's reasonably close to 28th Street and right off Foothills Parkway, which makes it easy to get around Boulder in a car.

Good but not the best

Posted Mar 16, 2014
The room was nice and clean. The bed was super comfortable. We liked having the sliding door that led outside right to the parking lot where our car was parked. There was complimentary breakfast which was kind of lame and the restaurant in there was very expensive. The pool was nice too. There was a very hottub that was relaxing.

Local Weekend Get-a-way

Posted Feb 17, 2014
Cons: Pool towels - each time we used the pool, we had to go to the front desk to ask that the towels be replenished. Food quality vs. cost.
We skiied at Eldora and decided to stay over versus driving home. Overall our experience was great. The staff was very responsive to our requests and always polite. We slept great - rooms are clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing we don't recommend is the Bistro Cafe in the lobby. The staff was great and food presentation nice, however, food quality for the price paid was disappointing. Other than that, great hotel! We recommend this place for everyone, but especially for those with kids.

Easy access location

Posted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: We liked the location, the room, and the dining area. The courtyard, though very snowy, was a great place to hang out.
Cons: The switch for the toilet/bath should be in that room. Also, an exhaust fan or can of air freshener would be nice.
A college friend and I reunited after 30 years so obviously there was a lot of catching up to do. We stayed in a suite, which was perfect. We had enough space so that we weren't tripping over each other, but were close enough to converse. The staff was very helpful with suggestions on things to do and places to eat.

Fine for price

Overall for a cheap stay this hotel is fine. At checkout I was displeased with the front desk staff as the was only one staff person who didn't acknowledge me at all and after waiting 15min to ask a question I gave up and left.

Great staff, extremely helpful with changing rooms and recommending places to eat and buy booze in the area. Fairly decent location, although not really within walking distance of anywhere. Boulder has a good taxi system though. Swanky decor makes the building feel more modern.

King size bed and sofa sleeper room. Bed not oriented to accommodate easy viewing of TV while in bed. Closet doors are in the way of bathroom traffic while open. Not overly impressed. Location feels like in a small business district.
