Nice stay over Christmas break

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: Location close to all services, University of Colorado, Pearl St. Skiing just 1 1/2 hours away (Copper Mountain, Winter Park)
Had a great stay over the Christmas Holidays. Location is in a business area but very close (5 minutes) to all services gas, grocery, fast-food, restaurants, shopping, ski rentals, etc. Also close to Pearl St mall (15 minutes) and skiing (Copper Mountain 1 1/2 hours). Hotel is a bit on the older side but very clean and comfortable. The room was large and spacious for 2 adults and 2 teens traveling with 4 large suitcases full of winter gear. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We certainly felt "at home" and extended our stay by 2 nights without any issues. Hotel offered free WIFI and parking. Hotels just a few miles away along Highway 36/28th St were more expensive and charged extra for both. Great value for the price we paid. We used to live in Boulder and were back for a visit so know the area well. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would also highly recommend it.

This the second time we've stayed here. (football game) We're always pleased with Marriott's standards.

Too little for too much

Posted Oct 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room clean upon check in. While we stayed three nights, other than fresh linens, the room was not attended to. We used the in room coffee maker the first morning. The coffee was never re-stocked, nor was the used cup replaced. The half used cup of coffee sat on the table for two more days. The glass drinking cups were never replaced either. Walls are paper thin making for a noisy room from crying babies two doors down, and the loud ice machine across the hall. The freight train coming through at 7:06AM Saturday was an unwelcome wake up call. (Again at 7:48AM.) The only mirror is over the bathroom sink. The TV remote control was stuck on one channel. Could not change channel, adjust volume, etc. While clean and bright upon check in, the property is not well maintained for guests.

Perfect for visit to UC Boulder

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Great hotel, convenient, and close to UC Boulder. My only complaint is that the towels were older and thin. Compared to the bed linens--which were lovely, the towels were a big disappointment. Excellent value. Good breakfast and delicious latte in the lobby.

2 star standard

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: Near to the my office location
Cons: Refresh carets and towels
OK for a one night stay. Carpets and towels long overdue for renewal. Restaurant OK for breakfast but don't expect to get more than sandwiches for dinner. Avoid booking this hotel through Expedia if you want to earn Marriott points. 3 star hotels like Hampton Inn and Marriott Residence Inn are significantly better as are other Courtyard hotels I've experienced.
